Originating in France, Sisley Paris is a world-renowned brand of high-end cosmetics that focuses on incorporating only the best aspects of plants into their beauty products. Drawing inspiration from plants’ capacity for regeneration and adaptation, Sisley Paris has established itself at the forefront of something they call phyto-cosmetology. According to Sisley, phyto-cosmetology involves applying natural plant extracts and essential oils to beauty products.
To create these products, Sisley selects the best type of plant in its category, the most effective part of the plant for the problem being treated, the country or region where this plant is the best and, finally, Sisley harvests the plant at the very moment when it will provide the most effective active properties. By combining this understanding of plants with an understanding of the skin and its mechanisms, Sisley’s scientific teams can create the most complete formulas and to provide the most comprehensive solutions to a given problem. Below we’re going to cover the key products from the extensive line of Sisley Paris Skin Care products as well as the key formulations used to create these products.
Is Sisley Paris Skincare Worth The Money?
A common question about this brand is if the products are worth the cost. Sisley Paris products are expensive, for example, the Sisleÿa L’Integral Anti-Age Radiance Anti-Dark Spot Serum is $600.
In our opinion, Sisley Paris products aren’t worth the money, simply because there are other skincare brands that offer similar products that are less expensive.
One brand is Carrot & Stick, a clean skincare brand that perfectly balances the gentle nurturing of plants with the powerful results of innovative science.
Carrot & Stick intro bundles deliver great value for money because you can bundle 3 full-size products worth up to
$240 for $88.
If you’re thinking about indulging in a Sisley Paris product, but aren’t sure which one to try, don’t worry. We’ve done the research to determine which Sisley Paris skin care products are the absolute best.
First on our list is the Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask. Sisley claims that this mask offers the skin the look of “instant youth” due to its composition of several unique anti-aging ingredients. Take the black rose, for instance. Sisley’s scientific director, José Ginestar, told Elle, “We use the Black Baccara rose, which was created in 2000 by a famous French rose producer. The aim was to produce a very dark rose by increasing the coloring pigments, which are known for their good antioxidant properties, in the petals. The extract is rich in carotenoids, which are very good free-radical traps, and fatty acids that bring nutrition, emolliency, and softness to the skin.”
The Sisley Paris Express Flower Gel Mask is next up on our list due to its concentrated formulation of moisturizing and regenerating active ingredients. This gel mask contains extracts of lily and iris, both which aid in retaining moisture in the skin. You’ll also find rose in this gel mask, which freshens and softens the skin. A final key ingredient in the Sisley Paris Express Flower Gel Mask is organic sesame extract, which is rich in linoleic acid, an omega-6 essential fatty acid (EFA). Linoleic acid is anti-inflammatory and helps to regenerate new healthy skin cells. If you have dehydrated, dull, or tired-looking skin, Sisley’s refreshing Flower Gel Mask may be perfect for you.
Last but not least is the Sisleÿa L’Integral Anti-Age, a cream that fights against the visible signs of aging with a unique cocktail of key revitalizing ingredients. For instance, ursolic acid is a naturally-derived compound that possesses anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Lady’s Mantle extract is another key ingredient in this anti-aging cream. Lady’s Mantle has potent anti-inflammatory properties and functions as a highly effective astringent, which helps to reduce the appearance of pores. In addition to these ingredients, you’ll find a plethora of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and amino acids in the Sisleÿa L’Integral Anti-Age, all which contribute to supporting the skin’s own youth-enhancing abilities.
Compliment your regimen with a serum. Serum contains higher concentration of actives and penetrate deeper. We recommend Carrot & Stick The Repair Serum. It contains 7 plant-based peptides to help promote smoother looking skin.
If you take a look at the key ingredients found within the Sisley Paris products, you may notice that some are the same ingredients you would find in your kitchen cabinets! For instance, ingredients like sage, lemon extract, mango butter are found throughout the line of Sisley Paris skin care products. Additionally, Sisley Paris includes numerous floral components in their products, like rose, lily, hibiscus, and orange blossom for their fragrances as well as their skin benefits. This proves that Sisley Paris is truly committed to offering you products with the most natural botanical ingredients.
Sisley Paris is an iconic brand that is present on all 5 continents, in more than 90 countries. Thus, it’s safe to say that the majority of reviews for Sisley Paris skin care products are positive. Those who use Sisley Paris products say that the experience is truly indulgent and luxurious.
Overall, Sisley Paris is a high-end, luxury line of skin care products that are formulated based on the concept of incorporating natural plant and flower extracts with technology to create the most complete formulas and comprehensive solutions to any given skin problem.
What Are Alternatives to Sisley Paris Skin Care?
If you’re looking for skincare products to address the signs of aging, we recommend Carrot & Stick. Carrot & Stick maximizes the use of powerful ingredients and minimizes the use of superficial ones, resulting in advanced skincare solutions that help promote healthy, more youthful-looking skin. We recommend The Defence Serum, followed by The Moisturizer.

I am in love with Sisley products. I love the Cucumber moisturizer! Yes, it’s very expensive. A big splurge for me. You only use a very small amount. The jar last about six months. I’m 60 almost 61, and I find it has improved my skin considerably!!
