Today, we’re looking at some of the formulas behind the bestsellers from this brand to help you decide for yourself whether it’s worth the investment. So without further adieu, let’s get started!

What are the Best Skin Care Products of 2024?

Behind The Brand

Media personality, author and public speaker Robin McGraw founded Robin McGraw Revelation in 2016 to encourage women take a few moments for self care. The result of those efforts has been a series of active skincare products that have been designed to work together to create a well constructed beauty ritual. The full range of product is most readily available through the brand’s website, but you can also find some of the products and bundles through retailers like Amazon.

Robin McGraw Revelation

Today, Robin McGraw Revelation Skin Care offers a full range of products dedicated to treating a wide variety of skin concerns including premature aging, dullness, dehydration, skin damage and more. Of their entire skincare range, there are a number of products that have risen above the pack to become best sellers. This includes their Hydra Quench Moisturizing Night Cream, the Dot Your Eyes Power Peptide Eye Cream and the Foaming Joy Purifying Facial Cleanser. All three of these products can be used together to form the pillars of a solid skincare routine that can help to detoxify the skin, prevent signs of premature aging and soothe dryness.

Looking first at their Hydra Quench Moisturizing Night Cream, this product is their number one bestseller and was featured in the Fall Beauty O-Wards in 2017. This product in particular has been designed to diminish the appearance of sagging skin while also helping to correct dullness and dehydration. The formula includes ingredients like squalane and hyaluronic acid to help hydrate and moisturize simultaneously.

Moving on to their Dot your Eye Power Peptide Eye Cream, this is one of the newer additions to the Robin McGraw Revelation range. This eye cream targets a wide range of under eye skin concerns including puffiness, dark circles, under eye bags, as well as crow’s feet, fine lines and deeper set wrinkles. Additionally, this eye cream also helps to boost collagen production due to the peptides that are included in this formula.

Finally, the Foaming Joy Purifying Facial Cleanser is another product from this line that has been featured in the 2017 Spring Beauty O-Wards. This cleanser was designed to remove makeup, oil, and other impurities from the skin without stripping it of moisture. The product features a smooth gel-like texture with ingredients like chamomile extract which cleans out pores without drying or irritating sensitive skin.

Formula Focus

Taking a deeper look at these best sellers, we can see a number of trends in the formulations behind Robin McGraw Revelation Products. Many, if not all of these products have been formulated with parabens, dyes, sodium lauryl sulfate and mineral oil. In addition, all of these products are also cruelty free.

Starting with the Hydra Quench Moisturizing Night Cream, this formula only contains 13 ingredients. The base contains water, squalane, hyaluronic acid, caprylic triglycerides and teprenone. Squalane is an excellent lightweight oil that acts as an emollient to moisturize and condition the skin, while hyaluronic acid deeply hydrates. caprylic triglycerides also act as emollients while teprenone has been shown to reduce dehydration, age spots and can even help to repair damaged moisture barriers. The remaining ingredients in this formula serve mostly as preservatives and texture enhancers to create a long-lasting cream that is easy and enjoyable to use.

The Dot Your Eyes Eye Cream features a significantly longer ingredients list, as well as a number of interesting and unique active ingredients. The base of this formula includes water, jojoba esters, caprylic triglycerides, silica, cetearyl alcohol and glyceryl stearate. Jojoba esters and caprylic triglycerides both act as moisturizing emollients that help to condition and smooth the skin. Silica is commonly used in beauty products, and is most common seen as an anticaking or bulking agent in skincare formulations. Finally, cetearyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol and glyceryl stearate is a derivative of palm kernel oil, both of which are most commonly used as emulsifiers and emollients to smooth and plump the skin. Some of the more unique ingredients in this formula are things like persian silk tree extract and peptides, which help to repair damaged skin and diminish signs of aging.

Lastly, the Foaming Joy Purifying Gel Cleanser acts as a happy medium, with a slightly long ingredients list than the Hydra Quench, while still featuring a number of beneficial botanical extracts. The base of this formula consists of water, glycerin, sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate and cocamidopropyl betaine. Glycerin acts as a lightweight humectant to add hydrate, while sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate and cocamidopropyl betaine serve as gentler alternatives to more abrasive surfactants. Aside from this base however, there are a number of additional ingredients to take note of, include green tea oil and apple fruit extract. Green tea oil is incredibly antioxidant rich, which helps to prevent free radical damage and preserve the skin, while apple fruit extract serves as a natural AHA or chemical exfoliant to remove dead skin cells.

I am so disappointed right now! I started using Robin McGraw’s products a little over a year ago – because I wanted quality products that did not perform animal testing. The products are fair, but overpriced. I only purchased them when they were on sale, or I could get a discount code. However, I placed an order over 3 weeks ago that I have not received. I have emailed customer service 5 times! They said they would look into it, but never provided an update. Then, I was told they were shipping a replacement order, but they never did. Their customer service is absolutely horrible!! I have requested a refund, since neither order ever shipped – but have yet to receive it!! I will never purchase from them again because of the hassle – there are other quality products that are much easier to deal with.

I am a 63 year old with 2 daughters and6 grandchildren. I don’t wear makeup and I don’t always wash my face before bed First, I love my agespots, my grandma had many and I’m thrilled to look like her. I don’t have oil/dry spots so I don’t need to worry there. Wrinkles and white hair are in my opinion are earned. I haven’t worn makeup in years.
I do have one problem though, fluffiness on my face at times especially around my eyes and I have circles there too. I cannot afford a full beauty regime and probably not use it if it was beside my sink. Is there something that can help my eyes and puffyness in your line. Please let me know your recommendations.
    Aging naturally and beautifully,
    Caryn Martin
