About Farmacy
It all started with a single flower: Echinacea Greenenvy. After wandering around his farm in Upstate New York, co-founder Mark Veeder came across a green flower. Looking more closely into the Farmacy products themselves, the line features two different ranges. Thing includes their original range, featuring the key ingredient, Echinacea Greenenvy, as well as their newer range, which predominantly features locally sourced honey. Both ranges aim to provide visual anti-aging results, and several products from both ranges have received praise for the fulfillment of this promise.
Green Clean Cleansing Palm
Balm cleansers have been one of the most popular trends in skincare over the last year. To fill this need in the market, farmacy created a nourish, smooth cleansing balm to help remove makeup, while still containing the skin-loving properties found in the rest of the Echinacea GreenEnvy. As the first step in your cleansing routine, this product is designed to effectively remove makeup, sunscreen and any additional debri that has collected on your skin throughout the day. But, while it is a wash off step, that could potentially be quite simplistic in formulation, the Farmacy brand took this opportunity to add in Echinacea GreenEnvy for it’s anti-aging properties, as well as moringa extract to purify and papaya extract extract to gently exfoliate. All together, the collection of incredibles make for a complex cleansing balm that doesn’t just remove makeup, but asks as a skincare treatment as well.
Honey Mask
The Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask is an award winning hydration mask that offers an innovative way to give your skin that extra dosage of moisture. The product offers a unique, sensory masking experience, as the mask transforms on your skin. Upon application, this product begins as a bright yellow-orange gel. However, as you massage the product gently into your skin, it becomes gradually warmer and richer until you’re left with a thick, white cream. Left on for an additional ten to fifteen minutes, this product has seen substantial success in boosting radiance and skin clarity. In fact, in a consumer study, 100% of women noticed a younger appearance, and increased moisture. Additionally, 97% noted a clearer complexion over a two week period of time.
The Formula
As we mentioned, this skincare range sticks very closely to its roots, literally. After much research and rigorous testing, Veeder found the the root of Echinacea Greenenvy flower contained the highest percentage of cichoric acid, an effective antioxidant that that helps protect your skin against free radicals. Because of this powerhouse ingredient, the original Farmacy line helps to prevent premature signs of aging, as well as gradually even skin tone.
In order to create the most potent formula for these products, the roots are harvested at their peak and immediately sent to the Farmacy lab. From there, they are cold-pressed and the final product is ready to be incorporated with the rest of the paraben, formaldehyde, and artificial coloring free ingredients. This entire process takes a little over three hours, including transport time, so you can feel confident that the products are incredibly fresh.
After the success of their first line, the brand embarked on a journey to create an equally effective secondary range. The result was the Honey Drop collection. These products feature Echinacea Greenenvy as well, but in a slightly different format. The active ingredient in this formula is the Echinacea honey, which combines the best of both worlds. You have all of the benefits from the Echinacea, plus all of the wonderful properties from locally sourced honey. Combined with royal jelly, propolis and a triple hyaluronic acid complex, these products have a number of incredible, skin loving properties that help to boost radiance and hydration.
