Arbonne Review: 10 Best Arbonne Products

If you’re active on social media, there’s no doubt you’ve heard of Arbonne, whether it’s a post showcasing the buzzed-about Arbonne fizz sticks or a DM from an old friend asking if you want to purchase a product from them. Yes, that’s right: Arbonne is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company. In fact, it’s a very popular MLM, with over 200,000 consultants around the world.

1Carrot & Stick Review
-Arbonne Skincare

Due to the nature of MLMs, it’s important to make sure you do your own research before purchasing a product. Sound like too much work? Don’t worry, we’ve done the hard work for you. All you have to do is keep scrolling to read the details on the best Arbonne skin care products. We’ll review the product formulations through a scientific lens, meaning we’ll give you the research that supports (or doesn’t support) the ingredients that you’ll find in these products.

What Are The Top 10 Best Arbonne Skin Care Products?

Arbonne offers nine different skin care collections designed to target everything from acne prone skin to the signs of aging as well as sensitive skin. The collections include all different types of products to build your skin care routine, including cleansers, toners, serums, essences, oils, masks, day creams, and night creams. Here’s a breakdown of the top 10 best Arbonne skin care products.

Arbonne Age Well Firming Neck Cream With 0.5% Bakuchiol

Is it true that you need a separate cream specifically for your neck? In our opinion, no, simply because there are plenty of anti-aging serums and creams that can work well for both the face and neck. But that doesn’t stop companies from formulating neck creams to specifically address the signs of aging in thinner, more fragile skin on the jawline, neck, and décolletage. And that’s exactly what the Arbonne Age Well Firming Neck Cream is claimed to do.

The Arbonne neck cream formula contains 0.5% bakuchiol as the key ingredient. Never heard of bakuchiol? It’s the “plant-based retinol alternative” that’s popping up all over the skin care industry (we’ll give you more details on bakuchiol in the Key Ingredients section below). You’ll also find supporting ingredients — like caffeine, peptides and vitamin C— in this neck cream, which should help promote firmer, smoother skin on the neck.

Arbonne Age Well Silky Cleanser With Vegan Surfactants

This pearlescent creamy face cleanser contains vegan surfactants to remove makeup, dirt, and other impurities, while supporting ingredients like glycerin and panthenol (provitamin B5) help to draw moisture into the skin. It’s recommended for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin.

Arbonne Age Well Intense Repairing Night Cream With 2% Bakuchiol

If you’re trying to prevent or reduce signs of skin aging, then you’ve probably heard that it’s a good idea to add a retinol cream into your nightly routine. Maybe you’ve tried a retinol product, but you’ve experienced the common (yet annoying) side effects of retinol, like skin dryness and peeling. If so, then the Arbonne Age Well Intense Repairing Night Cream With 2% Bakuchiol could be a good option for you.

Bakuchiol provides many of the same benefits of retinol – but without the irritation. This combination of ingredients should help to tackle multiple skin concerns, such as lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and more.

ALTERNATIVES: Carrot & Stick The Repair Serum. It contains 7 peptides for smoother, firmer looking skin.

Arbonne Age Well Collagen Nurturing Serum With 2% Bakuchiol

Similar to other products in the Arbonne Age Well collection, the Collagen Nurturing Serum features 2% bakuchiol as the key ingredient, along with many of the same supporting ingredients (niacinamide and beech tree bud extract)

The formula also contains a stabilized form of vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) to support collagen production. According to the Indian Dermatology Online Journal, clinical studies have shown that the topical use of vitamin C increases collagen production in both young and aged human skin. By increasing the amount of collagen in the skin, signs of aging will be diminished and the skin will appear more firm.

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Intensive Renewal Serum

This Arbonne RE9 serum has a light, silky texture that gives the skin a soft, smooth feel. It’s said to help enhance the look of skin smoothness and firmness, but unfortunately this serum contains pretty low concentrations of ingredients that would provide these benefits. For example, the brand lists vitamin C and sea buckthorn oil as key ingredients, however, these ingredients are used in concentrations of less than 1% (we know this because they are all listed after xanthan gum on the ingredient list).

The true key ingredients in this formula include glycerin, silicones, sugarcane extract, lemon fruit extract, orange fruit extract, apple fruit extract, and green tea leaf extract. These are beneficial ingredients, but they won’t do much to increase your skin’s firmness.

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Skin Revitalizing Sheet Mask

This serum-infused sheet mask is formulated to hydrate, smooth, replenish, and enhance radiance. There are plenty of hydrating ingredients infused in this mask, such as glycerin, apple fruit extract, cucumber fruit extract, and algae extract. These ingredients act like moisture magnets, drawing moisture into the upper layers of skin in order to improve skin hydration and give your complexion that plumped, youthful appearance.

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Lifting & Contouring Eye Cream

This Arbonne eye cream has a rich, silky texture that blends into the skin quickly without leaving a greasy residue. It contains plenty of emollients to nourish the skin, such as olive oil, shea butter, jojoba oil, sea buckthorn oil, mango seed butter, and more. It’s said to help the skin around the eyes look firmer and tighter, however, the ingredients that would actually provide these benefits are used in pretty low concentrations. What a bummer.

ALTERNATIVES:  If you are concerned about aging around the eyes including bags, one product we recommend is Carrot & Stick The Eye Cream.

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Lifting & Contouring V-Lift Gel

Sometimes we just need a product that instantly disguises lines and wrinkles, even if those effects don’t last. And that’s exactly what the Arbonne RE9 Advanced Lifting & Contouring V-Lift Gel is formulated to do. It’s a thin, clear gel that contains sodium polystyrene sulfonate, a film former that helps to superficially mask wrinkles. However, this effect is temporary and will disappear once the product is washed off. The Arbonne V-Lift Gel is claimed to reduce smile lines and crow’s feet with consistent use, but once again all of the other “key” ingredients are used in very low concentrations (less than 1%).

ALTERNATIVES: Carrot & Stick The Moisturizer. It’s overflowing with potent plant proteins, vitamins, peptides and amino-collagen.

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Lifting & Contouring Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen

This Arbonne sunscreen provides SPF 15 protection thanks to zinc oxide, a mineral sunscreen. The formula also includes plenty of emollients like jojoba oil, squalane, and shea butter to help lock in moisture. The brand claims that peony root, algae extract, vitamin C, sea buckthorn oil, and peptides are key ingredients. But these ingredients are used in concentrations of less than 1% in this formula. This seems to be a recurring theme for the Arbonne products, doesn’t it?

Arbonne Intelligence Genius Nightly Resurfacing Pads & Solution

The Arbonne Resurfacing Pads are said to improve the appearance of dark spots, fine lines, and skin luminosity. But instead of spending $98 on these pads, you should be able to achieve similar results by purchasing a bottle of rubbing alcohol at the dollar store and applying that with a cotton pad. That’s because denatured alcohol is the second highest concentration ingredient in these pads! We’ll explain why this is a major problem below in the Key Ingredients section.

Arbonne Intelligence Pollution Defense CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30

The Arbonne CC cream is a lightweight, medium coverage formula that can replace your primer, concealer, foundation, and mattifying powder. It creates a breathable “second skin” to protect all skin types from pollution. The formula also provides mineral-based, broad-spectrum SPF 30 protection against UVA/UVB rays thanks to zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. A few supporting ingredients in this formula include argan oil, vitamin E, alfalfa extract, and chicory extract.

What Are The Key Ingredients in Arbonne Skin Care Products?

After evaluating the best selling Arbonne skin care products, we noticed that most of the products are formulated with high concentrations of key ingredients, which is great. However, there are a few exceptions.

For example, the Arbonne Resurfacing Pads are formulated with an extremely high concentration of denatured alcohol (it’s the second highest concentration ingredient after dimethicone). And this is problematic for several reasons.

One problem is that, at first, products with high concentrations of denatured alcohol seem like they are actually helping your skin. That’s because alcohol gives products a quick-drying finish, immediately degreases the skin, and imparts a weightless feel. This is why you’ll notice that the Arbonne Resurfacing Pads instantly help to smooth, tighten, and reduce excess oil. But not in a healthy way!

The immediate effects of alcohol-based products can actually stimulate the sebaceous glands to produce more oil, causing skin to look even more shiny and oily than it was before. This excessive oil production combined with the possible irritation that denatured alcohol can cause may lead to an increase in acne breakouts.

Another major problem with using high concentrations of denatured alcohol is that this ingredient is well known to cause skin dryness, irritation, and even disruption of the skin barrier. According to a publication in the journal BBA Biomembranes, alcohol disrupts the lipids that make up the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of skin). While alcohol may provide short term benefits, it’s not doing your skin any good in the long run.

There are also several Arbonne skin care products that contain synthetic fragrance ingredients. The use of synthetic fragrance ingredients can be a problem because the brand can use a proprietary blend of chemicals to create the fragrance, and they do not have to disclose which chemicals they use on the label. They are allowed to list this blend as “Fragrance (Parfum)” on the ingredient list.

A 2018 study by Women’s Voices for the Earth discovered that in over 3,000 chemicals reportedly used for fragrances, 1,242 were chemicals of concern – and that included at least 7 possible carcinogenic (cancer-causing) agents. Fragrance ingredients also have the potential to cause skin irritation and sensitivity.

Despite the products that contain denatured alcohol and synthetic fragrance ingredients, the brand does use beneficial key ingredients in most of the Arbonne skin care products. One ingredient that you’ll find again and again in Arbonne skin care products is bakuchiol, an alternative to retinol. But can bakuchiol really provide the same effects as retinol? Let’s take a look at the science.

First, it’s important to know that bakuchiol and retinol are structurally and chemically completely different. Bakuchiol is a seed extract derived from the Ayurvedic Babchi plant. Retinol is another name for vitamin A, which can only be found in animal foods.

So bakuchiol and retinol are quite different, but they work similarly in cosmetic applications. In fact, bakuchiol has been shown to produce many of the same effects of using retinol, including the ability to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and reduce the effects of sun damage (including uneven skin tone). One of the main benefits of bakuchiol is that it provides retinol-like effects without irritation.

For example, a 2019 study published in the British Academy of Dermatology compared bakuchiol and retinol in a head-to-head 12-week, double-blind clinical trial on human subjects. For the study, 44 participants received either a twice-daily 0.5% bakuchiol product or a once-daily 0.5% retinol product. Both groups saw improvements in hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and redness, and there was no statistically significant difference between their results. This suggests that using bakuchiol twice a day is as effective as using retinol once a day. Another benefit is that the bakuchiol group reported less skin scaling and flaking than the retinol group.

If you want to reap the benefits of bakuchiol, consider the products in the Arbonne Age Well collection.

Another plant-derived ingredient that is frequently used in the Arbonne skin care products is sea buckthorn oil. Sea buckthorn oil contains unique unsaturated fatty acids, such as palmitoleic acid (omega-7) and gamma-linolenic acid (omega-6), which give this oil skin regeneration and repair properties. In addition, sea buckthorn oil easily penetrates through the epidermis, where it improves blood circulation and facilitates oxygenation of the skin.

Besides bakuchiol and sea buckthorn oil, a few of the key ingredients that you’ll find in Arbonne skin care products include niacinamide (amide form of vitamin B3), different algae extracts, and vitamin C derivatives. These are all excellent ingredients that should help to hydrate, brighten, and protect skin.

Where to Buy Arbonne Skin Care Products?

Arbonne skin care products can be purchased directly from the company’s website, on third party online retailers like Amazon, or from an independent Arbonne consultant. We recommend taking a look at the Arbonne reviews before talking to a consultant because at the end of the day their job is to make a sale.

How Much Does Arbonne Skin Care Cost?

Arbonne skin care products are priced relatively high, for example, the Arbonne Age Well Firming Neck Cream With 0.5% Bakuchiol costs $112 for 50 mL and Arbonne RE9 Advanced Lifting & Contouring V-Lift Gel costs $50 for 1 fl oz. However, you can receive 20% off Arbonne products if you sign up to be a Preferred Client (PC).

Is Arbonne Cruelty Free?

Arbonne is cruelty free and the products are officially Leaping Bunny Certified. Leaping Bunny Certification means Arbonne skin care products are free of animal testing at every stage of product development.

Good Morning, Morgan! Well said. You certainly described the distribution of money well! I started with Arbonne 1999. It was because of Jennifer Harman in the great Northwest, her professionalism & kindness, not to forget how my face felt with the facial. Also, I knew then I would not be paying full price. So, an Independent Consultant I became!

I am an IC for Arbonne merely for my own convenience. I am a huge fan of the natural-based ingredients in the products Arbonne provides. Originally I joined to use the nutritional products but, I have now ventured to use their make-up, and skin products. I enjoy being able to purchase everything from one place and know that all the products are made with high standards.

    Dear Anonymous,
I realize that there are quite a few replies to the comment you left in Dec 2017. I would like to address each of your 3 points, even at the risk of redundancy so here we go:
    1) Double layer jars are a standard for many cosmetic creams because the buffer between layers helps protect the product from extreme temperature changes. Also, were the jar to crack, the inner wall protects the product from being contaminated. Have you ever had a glass jar full of product crack and then leave glass shards in the product? I have. It’s no bueno. Arbonne products are measured by weight so you aren’t being sold a short stick on anything 🙂
    2) As for the commission that “some gal somewhere” is undeservedly earning commissions from your purchases and you are forced to pay her, please consider who is getting paid when you purchase something from Target, or from a beauty counter. It’s not the person who helped you, they are often getting an hourly rate. Slice and dice the cost of that product you bought and everyone up the corporate chain of command is getting a little slice of the profit. You are “forced to pay” everyone in the corporate structure too, and they aren’t even the one you had the relationship with. With Arbonne, the middle man is eliminated so that consultants are paid directly. You won’t find a comparable product to Arbonne at a better price point, so you aren’t actually paying more. It’s just that the commissions are more transparent than in a traditional corporate sales model. If you truly feel that the girl somewhere who is benefiting from your sales is undeserving, you can do 1 of 2 things: you can either find another consultant who you do have a relationship with and you might find you don’t mind supporting her; or you can become a consultant and earn the commission yourself! Pretty sure that Sephora isn’t paying you for buying their products. 😉 And if it makes you feel any better, that girl somewhere is probably super grateful for your business because you are helping her to live her dreams. Many consultants start doing this to help them to pursue their dreams. I know I did!
    3) Several other people have addressed your comments on packaging and recycling. All of it is recyclable. So don’t lose sleep over it. Arbonne is very responsible to the environment.
I hope I have helped shed some new light on these concerns of yours.

    Hello Tracy,
    How are you?
Arbonne came out with a total different new skin care that replaced the RE9. The ingredients are unique and results are just amazing. If you want to know more about it and promotions, contact me on Instagram

That “gal” isn’t getting your money. The company gets it. What you are paying for is the product, any taxes on that product, and the shipping and handling. And arbonne products are now recyclable. Might want to educate yourself before posting non-factual information on her 🙂

I used to love the R9 cleanser but the ingrediants changed and I can’t seem to find any information about the change. It doesn’t seem to close my poors like the original products did. The new product seems like every other cheap over the counter brand. Very dissapointing.

  • Jess Original review: Feb 20, 2020. Reply

You don’t realise until you finally get out, just how brainwashed you were. Yes, you, a fairly intelligent well educated person who would never be hoodwinked. I’m so ashamed of the time I spent (quite successfully) recruiting people to my team. People I cared about and who all lost a lot if money. Nobody makes any real money until VP level. It is an entirely “fake it until you make it culture” You are highly encouraged to do so. It is lining the pockets of a few people who continue to get richer by the people below them preying on their vulnerable friends and family. No matter which way you dress it up, it is a pyramid scheme. I spent my whole time walking the walk, talking the talk and denying that myself. I had every argument learned by heart to rhyme off as to why it wasn’t a (certain Egyptian shape) and it was the most equal system ever etc etc. I truly wanted to believe it and got carried away by all the positivity and fun and uplifting training sessions. Great fun, but you and those you care about are paying the price. Paying for the VP white mercs and their second homes .(mansions) in the sun. Whilst consultants are encouraged to recruit people and have them place ridiculous starter orders. In my day the suggested starter order was £1600 and we were pushed heavily to get that full business order in. The « upline » were very disappointed in you if you didn’t. You were encouraged to say it was essential to get on the ladder and get half way to District and to find a way, borrow/ get a credit card, « if you want it badly enough, you’ll find a way » Very few make that money back. The vast majority are left with huge credit card bills and a cupboard full of products they can’t shift. I’m racked with guilt over the people in my team who did this. I truly believed in it at the time. Thank God I woke up. I’m so sorry to everyone I asked to catch up for coffee and hit them with a full on powerpoint business presentation. We were told we had to do this at least twice a week but ideally as much as possible. Poor friends who honestly thought you wanted to see them for coffee. I cringe just thinking about it. The thing is the people in Arbonne are nice, or at least seem that way in the most part, they are not bad people and they believe in it with their whole heart. The products are ok but not as amazing as they are made out to be and so many people have reactions to the flagship line.. there is a whole spiel about it purging the skin blah de blah. The products are way over priced but they have to be so that every person above you on that Egyptian shape gets their cut of what you sell. It’s making a few people very rich and selling false dreams and getting the majority into debt. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. I’m not a bitter or disgruntled ex consultant, I actually did ok out of it but the people I cared about did not. I just woke up and saw the lightbone day, out of the 30 or so people in my original extended team I think maybe one or two are still hanging on in there. None have made it past the 2nd level of Area L. I think only two ever made it that far. You can’t make any more than a couple of hundred pounds as a District or you would have promoted to Area. It goes by sales volume, you hit a level of sales then promote automatucally. So those people pretending it is paying for fabulous lifestyles, houses, family trips to Disney are out and out lying. Those who made Area in our team told me their biggest ever pay cheque was £500. That’s a hell of a lot of hard work to get that. Don’t even start me on the whole Vegas thing. You apparently don’t take your business seriously unless you go to the AGM at Vegas every year. All these mothers leaving their kids on their school Easter holidays every year when it is a company that is meant to allow you to spend more time with your family. Promotes family values but you dump your kids on their school holidays and spend thousands on yourself to go for a few days of emotional brain washing where every person on that stage has some rags to riches tear jerking story and gets the whole arena in tears. All to get that fire in your belly and declare yourself an « Arbonne Lifer” They encourage all condultants to post all these glamorous videos and photos and flood social media. Thanking Arbonne for blessing them to be there. Arbonne have made a fortune out of them being there. The consultants have paid every penny of their trip themselves, air fare, hotel and a few hundred pounds for the conference ticket. Not Arbonne! They are also encouraged to spend a fortune ordering the IWIA (I want it all ) sets of new products launced. Usually a good £400 upwards! The NVP millionaires get the trip paid for them and are rewarded with the most vulgar expensive jewellery while there.,So if you take a District who can’t possibly be making more than a couple of hundred a month at most (many making a loss or getting pay checks of £7) and then subtract the costs of getting to Vegas and all the other trainings and the £150 maintenance you must put on each month … these people are not making any money. It’s sad but true. All you are doing is allowing those super rich at the top to keep theor extravagant lifestyles. Took me way too long to wake up and smell the coffee. Please please do not get sucked in. If it sounds too good to be true, it is!!!!

  • Deena Moore Original review: Aug 23, 2019. Reply

That doesn’t sound right. Where did you buy your cleanser? If you ordered from a consultant, then return it. If you bought it from ebay or amazon, then I would guess that you have been scammed. I use Re9 and it is creamy as always. I can help you order the genuine product if need be.

  • Rusiana Tjiu Mannarino Original review: Feb 15, 2019. Reply

    Hi Sam,
I am an Arbonne Consultant, my name is Rusiana. I am not from the Arbonne home office though I hope I can represent Arbonne in regards of your feedback. First of all, thank you for your interest in the Arbonne products. If you still want to know more about the products, I hope I can be at your service in meeting your needs.

I agree with you that it’s quite unbelievable that at this internet age no one from Arbonne is taking care of its social media presence. I can humbly say that Arbonne does not advertise nor it has someone solely in charge of social media feedbacks like this. There are plenty of sources out there. It is quite a task to know it all and to control it all. Since Arbonne sells its products sorely through Independent Consultant, we, usually address any feedback directly at personal level. Therefore , I am here to be at your service.

Arbonne doesn’t have someone looking out for its social media presence. Not because we don’t care but because we believe in the integrity of our ingredients policy and our independent Consultants. We surely can’t control the media, left alone any review. All review should be not bias and unfiltered. Bad or good, it’s stilk a review.

I believe all products out there are good and serve it’s purposes. Direct selling company usually have higher standard with more affordable price in comparison with similar products which are sold over the counter at department store or doctor offices. Here, we are talking about taking out the cost for distribution and sales force. Arbonne products Arecibo considered pricey in comparison with common over the counter products. Thought it super affordable in comparison with high end département store brand.

Why Arbonne products is different? Mainly because it has its own policy ingredients. Arbonne banned more than 2000 ingredients in its whole products formulation. It’s quite something there. I humbly suggest you to check ingredients in the product you are using and double check it with the Arbonne banned ingredients list. You can see the list in its website.

There are many great vegan products out there. While it’s not easy to find the ones that works and deliver result they promised.
Everyone reacts to products differently. If you are intrigued to try Arbonne, please feel free to reach out to me. I will do my best to serve you and meet your needs. Depends on our geographical situation, I give usually let my clients try the real size products, give out samples and have a one on one either online of in person. Or simply have a conversation over the phone. No obligation. I am here to serve.

I hope this respond find its way to you and make sense.

I wish you a good evening,
    Rusiana Tjiu

    Hey anonymous,
I am a consultant of Arbonne and I wanted to answer your tax question. For Arbonne to be able to abide by all state tax laws they charge tax off of the retail value of the product. Unless Arbonne is offering the discount themselves on their website, then tax will remain the same even if your consultant decides to create a special or discount package themself. As far as the consultant making money – we make commission off of the retail price NOT the ending total after tax and shipping. So even if we were able to somehow manipulate tax cost ourselves, we still wouldn’t be winning because we don’t get paid for that portion of the sale! Hope this answered your question.

Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone knows why Arbonne doesn’t use Vitamin A in their skincare products? Vitamin A seems to be one of the best things for acne, anti-aging. I noticed retinyl palmitate is one the list of “not allowed” in the products. Does anyone know what the issue is with Vit A? Warm Regards.

I had an allergic reaction to the RE9 line too. I thought it must just be because I have sensitive skin. My entire face broke out in tiny blisters. It was a terrible experience.

    Dear Anonymous –

    1. The product line completely changed their design and hasn’t had a plastic outer layer for over 3 years now. All of the product is in one container and is completely recyclable. This leads me to your second statement..

    2. Arbonne has a zero carbon footprint rating from UPS. All of the products containers are recyclable as well as the shipping containers that they are sent in.

    3. Commissions are sent to consultants from Arbonne, not from clients. Any price you’re paying for your products is for the ingredients within them, the materials to hold them, and shipping/handling.

You have every right to purchase any product you’d like, but you’re misinformed about the practices of Arbonne as a company. It’s the entire reason that they subscribe to the European Standards ingredient policy for not only the skincare line but the cosmetics and nutritional. EU standard bans over 200 ingredients that are used in products world wide. The US only bans 9.

Arbonne is vegan, never tests on animals, only uses the highest quality of ingredients, and is safe to use for all ages. I love it.

Hi Mary,it’s been years since you wrote this review. I’m looking at Arbonne to use and trying to find reviews. I can’t believe that it’s now april 2018 and no one from Arbonne head office has the job of checking social media or blogs or reviews and replying to these comments. It seems a bit crazy in this day and age that they do not have someone to do this when they are clearly saving a fortune by having zero shop fronts. thanks for your sensibility.

It is recommended that you use your ring finger and gently pat the product into you skin. The skin around your eyes is very delicate and thin. By using your ring finger you naturally use less pressure. The most effective way to get product into your skin in the eye area is to pat it in and this also increases circulation to the area. If you rub it in then you will be using more pressure than what is needed and stretching, tugging, pulling the skin around you eyes with the rubbing motion. This goes for any eye cream, not just Arbonne. A lot of people don’t realize that they should be applying eye cream a certain way. I didn’t until I became an Arbonne consultant. You can Google how to apply eye cream correctly and find videos and articles. Hope this helps and answers your question.

  • Mindy Original review: Mar 12, 2018. Reply

Hey Kim, you pat all eye creams because the skin around the eye is very delicate. You should not rub or tug on it. Use the ring finger because it is the weakest finger and applies the lightest.

I recently became a consultant after reading what feels like 10k articles… That being said I am going into, not so much skeptical, but cautious to make sure I am forming my own opinions of the products and not something I’ve been told to think, per se, now being a couple weeks into using all the “core products” religiously I have noticed some of those same things.. I do feel like there is an excess of waste with all these packets I am opening for my 30 day cleanse, I do feel like there must be a more conscious way to go about the entire packaging process because it somewhat negates the whole healthy living thing, you know? I also do think there is a way for you to change your consultant, or actually just go through it without one at all! Again, I’m new and pretty clueless so take it with a grain of salt! I do hope they make new packaging soon, though!!

can anyone advise (as I cant find online advice for this anywhere) – why you have to PAT the RE9 eye cream on rather than rub it in – like you do other eye creams? thanks 🙂

Bales, which product are you using for acne? I’m trying to stay away from salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and Retinol as we are trying to get pregnant. I have free samples of the Calm line used for the first time last night.

Maybe it’s where you live but all of the Arbonne containers are recyclable. The company is actually very committed to reducing waste. If you look carefully you will see the recycle triangles on each part of the containers. Also, the pump design that you mentioned isn’t too trick the purchaser but allows the most product to be used instead of being stuck at the bottom of the container!

I have very sensitive skin and have been using Arbonne cleanser (face wash) and skin cream for years and love them. No harsh chemicals. I am 67. However, I have two big gripes-actually 3.
    A) When you get the skin cream, the inside has another plastic actual cream holder that is half the size of the outside container so you only get HALF of the size of the actual container. Deceiptful. I don’t like feeling that I’m being “conned.”
    B) I am paying a gal somewhere every time I purchase on-line and don’t feel she deserves my commission yet I’m forced to pay it.
    C) NONE of their products’ containers are recyclable. At least NONE of the ones I use. Frankly, this is a deal breaker for me. I am starting to look
elsewhere for other product. Shame on Arbonne for not being environmentally responsible. All of these plastics are going into the environment. Yuck!

I agree with you Dee. I’m 57 and have tried so many products. Arbonne is the best. I think a lot of the negative talk on Arbonne is about the salespeople and not the product. How they were hounded:) There is an enormous misunderstanding about the business. People get an opinion and think they know what Arbonne is about before they actually do. It’s normal but not very smart to prejudge a person, event or business.

Your problem is not uncommon SK. The Ingredients are very active. The trick is to keep the eye serum away from eyelids. And use the Eye-makeup remover instead if the Face Cleanser. With a bit of trial and effort, I was able to continue and now have no problem. I wouldn’t exchange the products as they have turned out to be amazing. My skin loves them now. And this is 2 weeks later than my initial stingy eyes experience.

Hi Molly I am going to an arbonne party to support a friend who is selling it. It’s quite pricey and what I would like to know is this: can you recommend 3 products that, in your opinion, are the essentials? In other words, I don’t want to waste money on an arbonne product that is average or comparable to something I could get somewhere else for cheaper. What are the 3 superstars in terms of anti-aging/moisturizing/ regenerating? Please exclude sun protection and cleansing products. Thanks!

Dear Anon. My cousin introduced me to the Arbonne products over a year ago. As I don’t get involved with many companies, I was hesitant to sign on with Arbonne. However, I have had problem skin my entire life. As a youth I had extreme acne which left some scarring. I also have large pores which made it very easy to get blackheads. This was a constant struggle for me. However, after using my cousin’s products for two weeks straight, I noticed such a change in my skin that I also bought some of the skin care and began using her CC cream. I must say what you described above is not my experience at all. The CC cream when applied properly and on clean skin and over Oil Absorbing Day Lotion does not “slide off the face” as you described at all. I recommend you contact whoever introduced you to the products and find out what you are doing wrong.

Are you getting paid to promote Advanced Dermatology? Even after all these positive comments, you keep suggesting AD… As mentioned above, there are unscrupulous people in any business. Just like some people to bash others. If it doesn’t work for you, go find something else! I used to use R&F for years until I came across Arbonne. I switched 4 years ago and wouldn’t use anything else.!! It has worked miracles on my family and it the BEST product out there as far as I’m concerned.

Whether they work or not it is very disappointing to find that the bottles are so partially filled that they fall over constantly from being top-heavy. I just hacked the serum bottle in two and there was not even an inch of serum in the top. That means their was over 4 inches of empty space in the bottle!

I recently became a consultant to help a friend that was starting her Arbonne business, I do not sell the products but only buy what I use mostly the nutrition line, I like the firming body cream and have tired the RE9 line, I do find the products to be very high in cost and even with the 35% discount its a lot of money and being on social security and a fixed income, it’s hard to choose which product to buy once a month…..also very hard to find samples of the product to try before you buy, I also sell Avon and have for 30 years, it’s a whole lot easier to get a samples from them then from Arbonne…..

Just left a “spa party”. Consultant was poorly trained as she couldn’t answer any questions about product ingredients but instead kept saying to check the website. As a matter of fact, she didn’t seem to know much at all about the product even though she’s been a consultant for 5 years and only works 10-15 hours a week and drives a Mecades that the company provided to her. We should expect to be making $7,000 within 6 months to a year of starting as a consultant. ? she did say that Arbonne bans 1,300 chemicals but could only specifically name ”mineral oil’. Of the products she put on us, 3 burned my skin and the rest did almost nothing at all. My entire face was cranberry red by the end of it but I only noticed after she finished when I saw myself in the mirror. My eyes still burn.

There is a 6 week full money back guarantee, even if you have used most of the product. You should have done that if you are not happy. Like everything, there are bad people representing good companies. Sorry you came across one. Be mindful that not all products suit every person. I had a bad case with Shiseido and they wouldn’t except that i was sold the wrong product for my skin, hence no refund. Lessons learned.

I just became a preferred client today and ordered my first products from arbonne (trying arbonne products for the first time) and I mentioned to my consultant that I wanted the total price to be around $175 with taxes, fees, and the preferred client cost and she said it was do-able since my total product cost was going to be $150 and the preferred client cost is $20. When we actually put the order in and she told me the total it was $200 and the sales tax was $15+ and the shipping was $5, and unless Arizona’s state tax changed to 10% and I never heard about it, then I was charged the wrong tax. The consultant acted weird when i brought it up to her and now im reading reviews and comments about consultants charging the highest sales tax to make money off clients…. Is this true? How do I dispute this? I know its only a couple dollars but its almost double what I should be charged for my sales tax.

The first person I met affiliated with Arbonne was also not pushy. She is my consultant. I am sure there are some pushy ones out there, though. If you like it, just become a consultant for yourself!

My two cents! I actually enjoy my arbonne skincare. They are NOT crappy products, and because they are botanically based, inevitably some people’s skin will not agree with the products. Not everyone involved in a MLM is out to rip people off and shove skin care down people’s throats, just so they can make commission and drive a white Benz. I used to be with Mary Kay, but then got too busy with my other career and it fizzled out. Arbonne has way better formulas in my opinion. I have a few friends and a sister in Arbonne, who are doing quite well. It’s not because they are out to mess with people, it is because for the most part, the skin care works well, and the makeup, body products, etc, contain less harmful ingredients and are effective. I found the calm line really amazing on my skin, and I tried the re9. It was really quite nice however a little too pricey for me. If I had more money I would likely stay on the re9 line. The mineral foundation is awesome, and the bath and body products, particularly the fc5 shower gel and moisturizer, is affordable, smells delicious, and goes a long way. I love the genius pads (they have aha in them) and when I use these nightly I have less breakouts and clearer skin. That product really is amazing. Try it out, honestly it is so great. All in all, Arbonne sells quality skincare and makeup, and it is definitely worth a try. I’m sure you will fall in love with the smell and results of quite a few things they offer. They have a good return policy also, as all reputable companies do. I suppose there is a reason my sister has moved up so high in the company and now drives a Benz! The products really do speak for themselves. May as well try them out and see if they work for you. It is an ethical company with many quality skin care options, depending on your needs. Give it a try!

I absolutely love the products. My sister is a consultant and I buy all of my products as well as my families products from her. Maybe you had a bad experience and thats unfortunate. All I can say is that I have heard the business opportunity and no way in hell are the consultants only out to get your money and the car. No one is trying to trick anyone. It is a network marketing company, and if you knew anything about business and what is going on in the world today, MLM is the business of the 21st century. I choose to use a healthier product and sorry but those Arbonne consultants who are apparently deceiving people work harder than anyone I know. They are just working smarter. This company helps so many people around the world. My sister goes to 3rd world countries and helps children, families and builds schools and homes for them. And she is able to do this because of Arbonne. So next time you decided to shit on something, get your facts straight! Thank god your not a consultant, cause they don’t have room for people like you.

I am an Arbonne consultant and have been for many years. I totally love the products, the only fault I have is with the so called support network and pure hatred of some people. I was attacked by my sponsor after asking for support, the attack was aimed at me personally/professionally, this left me feeling bullied, isolated and depressed. One of my consultants was also treated badly when she was told that if I gained support from others she would stop supporting/training her, that constitutes blackmail I believe. I desperately wanted to restart my business therefore I contacted Arbonne to ask if it would be possible to find another source of support from my up line, the response was not clear and my business has depleted.
I thought Arbonne was all about support/kindness/paying good forward etc. In my case my sponser was a very bitter twisted nasty piece of work who will stomp on anyone to get where she wants to be. I really hope she finds what she deserves

The products are expensive for giving you bad skin.

For the love of God people, DO NOT BUY THIS RUBBISH.

Hope I can help innocent people out there before they fall into the trap the consultants lay before you. Oh and also, if you try and tell them you don’t like it, there will be another range to waste your money on.

These consultants are just after the white Merc they get a bonus towards…….I would never con people for a car, I just work harder and buy cars from honest living, not by taking money from people and leaving them with bad skin.

Thank you very much for your comment. It is this information that draws on the ugly reality of “network marketing”.

I had an Arbonne VP invite me twice out for coffee. I was able to see through the feigned caring nature to the pushy agenda she intended when I declined on a drinks night which would have been all the hideous Consultants glaring off each other. No thanks.

I have a family member who is a Consultant who will beg my husband to buy the RE9 set as I politely declined on buying after trialling all 6 or so samples, just to “get her over the line”.
So desperate to cut a sale that they don’t even realise they are crossing over the line! (Husband later says he just did to get her off his back and said the products were rubbish on his skin).

I will never endorse Arbonne. As a make-up artist and skincare nut, it is all word of mouth……the quality of products and what works. You don’t need 3-7 steps to achieve good skin. All you need is a quality Moisturiser and Sunscreen worn daily and a strict regime of removing make-up and debris off your face at night. It’s water hydration, eating well and sleeping during the “golden hours 10pm – 2am” that gives you youthful glowing skin.

Then in the morning i used it and thought i could see a white patch under my eye but decided to use it before i went to bed. But when i woke up i had huge white patches under my eye. Very strange. So to give me moisture i just made my own scrub with olive oil brown sugar and coconut oil. It makes it so soft but alittle oily. Ahh skin care products are so frustrating with sensitive skin. Oh well but i hope my reversed black eye goes back to normal. 🙁

LOL! You are very uneducated about network marketing, Erin. The company is 36 years old, probably older than you. With it’s extreme growth and global expansion, I don’t see a collapse. A pyramid scheme is probably what you do – work for someone with no chance at getting to the top position. With Arbonne, we can grow as little or big as we want. Ingredients are SO simple to find. Listed on every item’s box and detailed list online as well.

I went to an Arbonne party and the person doing it cut off friendship with me because I told her outright I didn’t want to buy any products and I also was the only one there who had heard of Arbonne and I described it as a “selling-driven company based on recruitment”. This person now spams Facebook all the time with these crazy Arbonne posts. She is openly derogatory of people who go to work to make a living, saying we are working for “the man” and are not seeing our family enough. Now when I encounter a new Arbonne person, I notice they all use EXACTLY the same language, speak exactly the same. The whole point of Arbonne is that to sell you have to have cult like faith in the products (which are not much better than others, and use vague terms like “botanically based” and pseudoscience like “detoxing” and “PH balancing” to describe their supplements) and then only befriend you to sell the blasted product. I find this so lacking in genuineness!

  • Kanissa Original review: Mar 10, 2016. Reply

It’s unfortunate that you were exposed to Arbonne in that way. It stems from the philosophy of leading with the business because the business is the best product. Unfortunately, while this approach motivates some it turns off others. You are right. It should not be about the business opportunity. Network Marketing is supposed to be about building relationships and being genuine, honest, and transparent. You have to truly care about people to be in this business. All I can say is that if you like the product, align yourself with another consultant who does not lead with the business and who is interested in building a relationship based on trust and transparency.

  • Kanissa Original review: Mar 10, 2016. Reply

Your blind pimples are likely a result of what is known as cystic or hormonal acne, and the fact that they are more prevalent during your menstrual cycle makes sense. Oily skin is not reflective of hydration but rather a reaction to a lack of it. When your skin is dry, the body produces sebum to hydrate it. It’s that sebum that’s the enemy. So, if you keep your skin well hydrated you’ll shut down that sebum production and that’s why your product is working. Also, I don’t think it’s fair to say your mom got “suckered” into Arbonne. Network Marketing is on the rise and is the new Professional Age. It will only continue to grow as people look for jobs because there is so much unemployment, as students graduate with no jobs to go to, and as people look for more freedom and opportunity. Being an entrepreneur costs a lot of money, so Network Marketing or Direct Sales companies offer a job with income and potential freedom without the huge investment. Network Marketing works, but people don’t. If you don’t work that business you won’t reap any of the rewards. You must work your business and grow it like any other business out there, but most give up because they joined for the wrong reasons. It’s not quick money or a get rich quick scheme, you have to work and work hard in the beginning so you work less in the end. In addition, we as humans buy things based on emotion and then justify with logic. Often when that emotion subsides and the reality of what we have purchased sets in, we become disillusioned with our purchase and displeasure sets in. So, your mom didn’t get suckered into Arbonne. She joined based on what she was feeling at the time and then later became disillusioned. Network Marketers don’t “sucker” people into things (unless of course they are overselling their business). They are sharing their business and looking for business partners and if your mom or anyone else joins because they are feeding off the excitement or enthusiasm of the consultant that is neither the consultant’s nor new business partner’s (like your mom) fault. We all buy products, visit places, buy clothes, go to restaurants based on the recommendations and enthusiasm of others. We do it everyday. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t and Network Marketing is no different.

Arbonne has never claimed to be natural, and natural isn’t always good. Poop is natural. Also, you’re entire body is made up of chemicals. Everything you eat and drink is made up of chemicals. Chemicals aren’t all bad. They use chemicals approved by the EU only. The EU has a list of 30 something banned chemicals vs. the US which had about 9. That’s way better than most stuff you’d find on the shelf. Plus they’re vegan certified, have never tested on animals, are gmo free, and are carbon neutral. I don’t know why so many people bash the company. The product may not work for everyone, but just because they cut out all the middle men by going the network marketing route doesn’t mean they’re evil. They’re actually trying to do good for the environment. Don’t let a bad rep ruin the product for you.

Sara, thank you for your very well informative comment. I’m at the beginning stages of exploring the opportunity and trying to make a decision. As you said it works great for some; for me a couple of days with trial was not enough to see real results from my total engagement but I do believe it is s high quality product. I was surprised & disturbed disturbed with the 60% rating.
Unfortunately for me I may not have the right rep to engage me (too pushy). Wish I could find another partner.

Hi Erin, and just an fyi to the other response… the Network Marketing Industry has created more millionaires than any other industry in the world – some of the richest men in the world own them and know their value… It’s simply a different business model – cutting out all the expensive middle-men (advertising, marketing, distribution, etc.) and providing some of that to independent brand representatives who share about the products. The rest of the money they save, they are able to invest more in research and development – to create a better product for the money.

There’s absolutely zero wrong with GMOs. It’s been inculcated into people that they are harmful & that is a complete falsehood. Even our overly cautious government has conducted study after study and found the procedure very beneficial. Basically, plants and fruits and vegetables that had weaknesses that caused them to die of disease or infestation scientists were able to get rid of. Many GMO fruits & veggies need less pesticides because they are stronger and more resistant. Crops grow stronger and higher yields allow more people to be fed. My son attended a conference filled with gov’t officials who all acknowledged that the anti-GMO hucksters have completely and ingenuously vilified a Godsend scientific advancement. It”s like villfying scientists who invent procedures to genetically remove cancer-susceptible cells from the human body. Are those genetically modified people better off or worse off as a whole? More healthy or less healthy?

I have used Arbonne products for several years. I have pretty much loved everything I’ve tried. My hands would crack and bleed every winter. Nothing I tried, not even dermatologist recommended, worked until I tried the Body Moisture and Hand Creams from Arbonne. I can’t even believe that my winter skin is gone. I’ve also had many sensitivities to different make-up brands – even expensive ones, but I love the way my face looks and feels with my Arbonne Mineral Powder and RE9 face line. I love the products so much that I signed up to be a consultant – really only for the discount. I have no intention of building this as a business but I know a fantastic woman who is getting ready to quit her job and do Arbonne full time. She works hard, is a great salesperson, and her customer service support is fantastic. I wish this site was only evaluating people’s experiences with the product and not as a consultant because I believe these products are the best for my skin.

    Hi Sue,

in the interests of transparency I will say from the start that I am proud to be an Arbonne independent consultant …

I am more than happy to answer these questions for you (and any other questions you and others may have)

Arbonne do not have any independents that are GMO sourced, it is all part of them being naturally derived … please note that Arbonne do not claim to store natural products – we all know that popping some mud from a lake (natural product) is not always a good thing ! They do however strive to take the best from nature and the best of science to product a botanically based product line.

I can send you more information on the ingredient policy and (as part of my role) offer you advice as to which products should work best for you – should you choose to try them. I don’t do high pressure sales or keep messaging you to buy – I don’t like it being done to me, so I don’t do it to others.

As with everything – some people will not like the products, others will. Thankfully as a company we also offer your money back if you are part of the 1st group.

  • GMO and GLUTEN FREE is TRUE!!! Original review: Dec 03, 2015. Reply

Arbonne is 100% Gluten Free and GMO non detect!! That is higher than almost any brand on the market!! That lady that gave that awful review was discredited because her facts where actually false. We are not here to convince you, that is not what I do for a living. However, bashing our brand when the claim of us being false is unfounded. I started out as a skeptic buying some products. I became a consultant only for the discount for the nutritional products. Then after using many “high end” products my skin started to freak out. Here I had samples of the Re9 anti aging sitting in a box for over a month before I was told by a good friend to try them. WIthin THREE DAYS my skin not only looked much better, but felt better as well. Don’t knock it until you try and truly compare it with a product(s) of the same high end quality. The only thing you may regret is not ordering it sooner.

This is NOT a pyramid scheme, It is Multilevel Marketing. A pyramid scheme asks for money but does not actually offer products and is illegal. Consultants get commission on what they sell and a portion of those above them. And you can make money on just selling and not recruiting, you just make more if you recruit others. Your comment is ignorant. Educate yourself before making such comments.

  • laura Original review: Oct 27, 2015. Reply

To Erin and others who bash Network Marketing. They are NOT pyramid schemes. Pyramids are illegal. Network marketing only takes out the middle-man. The store front. The commercials/advertising. Arbonne consultants recommend products. And if someone needs more information, most are more than willing to find it for their customers. They are service-minded and caring. Not trying to get rich off friends, etc. Arbonne consultants are offered more training with their website and conferences and meetings than the lady at the clinique counter or a walmart aisle. Arbonne consultants do NOT carry an inventory. There is no huge investment. Arbonne has been around for 35 years. I don’t think it’s going to collapse. And on Arbonne’s website you find each product’s ingredient. There is an ingredient policy right on the site. Negativity breeds misery. My Arbonne friends are the most joyful, kind, positive people I’ve ever met.

  • Sara Original review: Oct 23, 2015. Reply

I am utterly astounded by some of the comments on here in which individuals pick on other individuals just trying to make a living, Its rude, ignorant and quite frankly abhorrent human behaviour. I came on this site looking at reviews and then reading the comments below found a torrent of a abuse about all manor of things. Independent Consultants in Multilevel marketing are usually ordinary people trying to make a little extra cash or substitute their often strugglingly small incomes and 9-5 existences for something that allows them to be flexible and give them ownership over their own lives. The idea the people without extensive education etc can’t make a living is the exact kind of elitist attitude that created the current poor economy.

As far as I can see Arbonne products work really well for some, less for others but at the end of the day they aren’t making any bold claims and as well as the products the company offers the opportunity to start a lifestyle business, which by the way isn’t a get rich quick scheme but an actual business, which you can chose to do or not but like any job or business, takes time and energy. At the end of the day we can all say people told us to do this or that but this is skincare, we all have to be responsible for the decisions we make, and if there are dodgy consultants out there (which no doubt there are) the company should be informed.

Personally when I have used Arbonne I have found some lines great and others not so great, I don’t find it overpriced because I value what I put on my skin as it is the biggest organ on the human body and I believe you should take care of it, even on my small income. I have found the products to last a lot longer compared to other cheaper brands and when I first heard of Arbonne, I was given the opportunity to do a home trial for a few days before I bought anything. The consultant who told me about it is a trusted friend of mine so I had no problems hearing what she had to say and there are also a lot of men in her business, so the idea that Arbonne preys on females is I think a sweeping generalisation. It is important to note that no one should feel pressured into anything and if you feel a person is hassling you, then make sure you make your own decision. This doesn’t necessarily mean the company or products are bad, just the approach of that individual. Always do the right research when it comes to products and get educated. I wish you all the best.

  • Normi Original review: Aug 23, 2015. Reply

Erin, I would advice you to research what is a PYRAMID scheme to have an understanding about it. A pyramid scheme only the very top makes the money. They make money by collecting membership fee from the recruits, but do not offer products or services. A Pyramid scheme anyway is illegal in several countries including USA. If a company like Arbonne, Avon, MaryKay and others that recruits independent sales representative to bring products to target users are in pyramid scheme, they would have been in jail along with the company’s owner’s and CEO’s. What Arbonne, Avon, MaryKay and others are doing is called Networking or Direct Selling.

Ok so I don’t usually post reviews and am usually critical of many products that charge so much. My mum (what I believed) got suckered in to arbonne just like she did enjo, and all the other natural, independent, at home sales business….

Now, I am 29 years old and have always suffered with breakouts and blackheads, usually relating to my menstrual cycle (I’d get big blind pimples). For the past three months I had been getting, not my usual one zit, but 2-3-4 of them and I had had enough!

Mum gave me her cleanser, toner and re-surfacing pads (she got over the fad), as I thought I’d try something “natural” (I had been using st ives apricot scrub for over a year and seemed to be working well until recently).

I was hesitant about the re-surfacing pads as I already had oily skin and they seemed to be oil based product that you wipe our face with before bed (never a good thing for breakouts).. and the cleanser was smooth, no “scrub bits” which I thought needed due to blackheads and patches of dry skin…

WELL!!! I am pleasantly surprised! I don’t wake up with zits, my monthly blind pimples hardly exist and I have hardly any blackheads! So I wil keep using it, pretty good for something that was a last resort.

You can’t continue to put chemicals in your body? You do realize every single thing you consume is a chemical, right? I’m not going to go into the rest of the silly things you said but I will state that I’ve bought several Arbonne products to grudgingly help a friend who sells it and aside from the brushes the products were either terrible or equal to a product I could buy for 1/4 of the price. I don’t care how “pure” or “natural” a product is, if it can’t perform it’s not worth my money.

please read the ingredients, they certainly aren’t all from a plant or natural mineral…and that is FINE, because the products work, but stop spreading the falsehood that it is all natural. It isn’t. Arbonne products use palm oil, Polysorbate 20 and Butylene Glycol

what kind of pseudo science is THAT?!?!?! stop repeating the marketing phrases you were told to say and just be real. It is why in general (like finding a good pair of jeans) you have to try many options before finding the one that works for you.

Yep, the consultant that signed me on did some shady stuff, too. I told her I didn’t want to build a team, just sell for a bit of commission on the side, and they way she told me to place the order didn’t seem right. The way she told me to sell and charge everyone in the state the highest tax rate means she gets a free dollar here and there, it is totally manipulating the system. She had me place my first order for my first party (which I sold $1000 worth of product) as a consultant order, which means I get no commission and it benefits HER because she is my direct upline and placing an order as a consultant records as her sale. I was so upset. And all I get is the “remember your why!” which is ridiculous. I’ve owned my own business for 15 years and wanted this as a side gig and it is obvious that the company just lets rouge consultants do whatever they want. I love the product, and think if you find a good upline, the business is great. But when consultants are preying on those signed up below them, there is no accountability. It isn’t a pyramid scheme, but if your upline is shady, then it can be a total rip off.

I have been using Arbonne for a little while now and absolutely love it. While everyone’s skin is different and may react differently to different fruits and extracts it is by far the best that I have tried. I have eczema on my eyelids — yes my eyelids and cannot put steroid cream on my eyes. Everything I used and tried would make it flare up and become really super itchy. When I tried the Arbonne RE9 line, I was pleasantly surprised that to see the itch was subsiding but I couldn’t understand why it was going away. My mother finally suggested to get rid of my old pharmacy/Walmart make up and try Arbonne makeup… She said you can’t just do half of it you have to do all of it. Well she was right, since changing all my face products and using only Arbonne, I no longer have any eczema. NOW, I’m not saying this would work for everyone however it did work for me. The products are all amazing and wonderful!

The one thing that I wanted to mention on this is that this is supposed to be a review on the products on your skin and not the business. Many people join Arbonne and realize that it is lots of work and when it doesn’t work out they bash the company. Because this site is supposed to be a review of the products and not the company therfore, in my opinion, makes the Arbonne rating here not an effective rating system. It should be on the products for your skin… hence the name Derm Reviews!!!! If you want to post business reviews you should be finding another site.

I give Arbonne 5 Stars because THEIR PRODUCTS are simply amazing!!!!

I am sorry that happened! I know exactly how frustrating that can be. I am a fairly new consultant and know that Arbonne is or has been going through some website changes and it has been a headache. For consultants and clients alike. I think things are finally getting settled. So I hope you will continue to use your product. I would hate for you to have to stop using something that works. Also maybe have a little discussion with your consultant. Just let her know your dissatisfaction. We are here for you and ultimately you are her priority or should be. I know that I also had issues in the beginning due to the site headaches and they charged my card but for some reason my order wouldn’t show so they wanted to re charge me. Since I saw the amount on my bank account my consultant (now my sponsor) did not want me to be billed 2x. So she used her credit card. Then when the original charge dropped off my account I wrote her a check to reimburse her. So I felt very taken care of. That is the kind of thing I think we should be doing for our customers. So Pat, I am sorry this happened and you and your daughter were displeased and felt neglected. But give it another chance. 🙂

Ok I just signed up as a Arbonne Consultant in Feb. 2015. I have been NAGGED by the uplines. They want you so involved with everthing, meetings calls etc. They do their promotions every quarter, so in March…Im still the new girl, my upline signs in as me and orders something with my name on it but a different address. I sent her an email about it and she said she had done it to get her promotion. At the time I didn’t care because I didn’t pay for it. Then today I get an email saying my request was approved to send the item back, I never requested that either. So its a NO Brainer, my upline has signed in under my name, order things to get her promotion and then sends the product back because she didn’t need the product she needed the MONEY to help her get promoted. I like the products, I think they are too expensive but I like the product, However the Business part is Bull Shit. These ladies are in it for themselves and how they can make their promotion, they will even hack your account to do so. You can order off Amazon or Ebay and still get it cheaper than what I can get it at my discount!

Some of these consultants are given cars and SUVs for sales and signing up other consultants. How much are the products increased in price in order to do this??? That is the main reason I won’t even try their products. I work hard for my money and pay for my own vehicle. The company also puts these ladies up in fancy motels for days while they all talk about how to push more product and sign on more consultants. It is a pyramid scheme through and through. I see these ladies on Facebook boasting and taking pictures in Vegas and elsewhere and it just solidifies my decision to NEVER buy their expensive products. If they truly wanted to “help” people with their products, they would lower the prices.

Mary Kay products contain mineral oil – a toxic material that severely ages the skin. Also, they get some of their products from China where mandatory animal testing takes place. Mary Kay over Arbonne? Hell no. No skin care company out there can even touch Arbonne’s Swiss standard AND vegan certification.

If the business didn’t work out for you or you didn’t find the products to be helpful – that’s your opinion and that’s fine. But guess what? There are thousands of successful consultants completely changing their lives with this business and these products – including me. I’ve never had complaints about the tax/shipping and we just got a new website that’s awesome. Confusing ordering process? I have hundreds of clients and have never heard that. Maybe it’s just you? Anyways, be happy for others that love what they’re doing. Keep your unwarranted negativity to yourself.

I have used Arbonne and I liked what it did for my skin. I love the cleanser. It took all of my makeup off including mascara. What I don’t like is customer service and they could lower their prices or give more breaks with package deals. If you spend so much you get a discount for your next order but only if you spend $150! If your going to give me a break give me one! My daughter, because of their web sight, got jipped out of a product she was to get free because “she ordered it wrong”. They wanted her to mail back all the products she ordered and was using, paying for packing and shipping herself, then they will resend it all back out to her along with the free product. Of course now she doesn’t have her product to use while all this is going on. She went through several people with the same outcome. Well she told them to keep their free product and they also lost a customer and so did the consultant! When they saw she did what she was suppose to do for the free product why couldn’t they just drop it in the mail and make a customer happy! They also don’t have good training for new consultants. I’m on the edge of weather I want to continue to purchase products from a company that cares more about $$$ than people regardless of how good it is. We need to get back to good customer service people!

Received sample line of the anti-aging from a friend. Loved how the products made my skin feel – initially. However, after several days of use noticed a rash which became markedly worse over the next three days – masses of tiny itchy pimples, some with pus heads. I have NEVER had acne not even as a teen. I am in my fifties. I react that way to some sunscreens. Even though these products don’t contain PABA or petrolatum there is something in probably the moisturizer that causes this on my skin which admittedly is sensitive. Sadly had to discontinue after a week and a half of use. I work in a professional office and cannot present an appearance of “old lady with pimples”, sorry!

I started using Arbonne two years ago because I was suffering from adult acne. One of my daugters also had acne and sensitive and the other daughter has always had eczema. Within a few weeks of using the products, all of our faces have cleared up and my daughters eczema is totally gone. My face is smoother, more even toned and even black circles under my eyes have been reduced. From using the shower gels, my skin is more moisturized, less dry and has even got rid of any cellulite that I had.
I will be a consultant for life.!! I would never go back to the old products. I absolutely LOVE these products.!!! And I beg to differ that that are expensive. With our discount, money back and the length of time they last due to being so pure, they actually work out cheaper then the products I was buying before.

While it might work great for you and others, when it doesn’t work but causes pain and fear in what is happening to one’s face, its important to comment as well. I never thought my skin was so sensitive until I put one application of that RE9 on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas Day I looked like the Elephant Man! Something really potent in that mix that I hope the makers will look into. Because if its really safe it shouldnt cause such pain and suffering in others.

I was given some free RE9 Advanced Arbonne samples to try from a distributor of a friend several months ago. I never really put anything on my face as a daily ritual, such as moisturizers, etc. I have never had a problem in past with using Noxema or St Ives products, etc. At age 46 on Christmas Day – everything changed when the day before, Christmas Eve, I thought I would treat myself to one of the free samples, thinking it was a moisturizer. Only after I applied some to my face did I read the label…RE9 Advanced antiwrinkling cream – put on before sun exposure. Well, we drove from CA to CO and while in Denver at my dad’s on Christmas Day, I woke up to a face I didn’t recognize! At first I thought maybe I had slept on a crease on my pillow case and had left marks on my upper cheek. As the morning progressed my face literally hurt! It puffed up and I felt like the Elephant Man! One side had swollen to the point of looking like it had retained fluid under my eye. My eyes felt swollen. Talk about miserable Christmas pictures that day!! Today I saw our dermatologist and he prescribed cortizone steroid as well as another cream to get my face back to normal. Mind you when he walked in door he asked me point blank “What did you do to your face?” As I read other comments here about how great the product is – you can imagine my confusion as to what could be in that product that made my face look so horrible – and wrinkly even! I hope my feedback helps here because I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience what I did – especially on Christmas Day!

I recently purchased Arbonne Calm Moisturizer. The consultant advised me that if I see a few pimples then to continue using it until my skin gets use to it. I’ve used it for approximately 5 days now and notice my forehead getting a rash-like pimple pattern. I’m hoping this clears itself up as I’ve heard great things about Arbonne. Anyone have any insight of experience with this?

I see lots of comments from people having tried cosmetics for one or two weeks only. That is not long enough. Simply because the stems cells of the skin takes an average of 28 days to reproduce and to travel its way up to the epidermis (surface of the skin).

I also find that clients often “over use” the products at the beginning. You need give your skin some time off so it can absorb the active ingredients and adapt to the new treatment.

  • Francis Original review: Dec 06, 2014. Reply

I used to work for one of the best known and most expensive company of cosmetics in the world. As I was getting ready to open my beauty studio, I searched, researched and tried dozens of brands that I could use every day.

My expectations were at the highest for quality, effectiveness and efficiency. But neither I, nor my clients could afford the brand I used to work for.

And I discovered Arbonne. I ordered and tried a few products from every line of their products and I was amazed by the instant results with each of them. I ordered bigger quantities and I now use it all the time.

  • Francis Original review: Dec 06, 2014. Reply

    My recommendations:

    2. Spread the use of the new treatment to half the suggested frequency.
    3. Give your skin a break once or twice a week. Don’t use any products at all on these days. Simply use clear water and let the natural bio-chemistry of your magnificent body happen on its own.
    4. Feed your skin from inside out with balance nutrition and by drinking lots of water.
    5. Quantity: LESS IS MORE. For most facial products, a few drops for gel and liquid, or a bead the size of a pearl for cream is enough to cover the entire face, neck and décolleté.
    6. Avoid cross contamination.
When using cream in a pot, pick it up with a freshly sanitized (90% alcohol) plastic spatula or a coffee wooden stick. NO DOUBLE DIPPING.
If using pump or spray, wipe the tip clean so the product doesn’t dry off. You should sanitize the tip of the bottle before and after every use to avoid bacteria culture.
DO NOT SHARE your products and your cosmetics instruments. Clean, sterilize and sanitize your implements on a regular basis.
    7. Lower your expectations. There is only so much we can do against the natural aging process. Even plastic surgery doesn’t last for ever…

When in doubts ask a certified professional esthetician or cosmetician, your doctor or your dermatologist. They are regulated by their State. In Canada, we are regulated by the Ministry of Health and by our specific field’s professional order or board in every province and territory.

I hope this is helpful to you all.

I used Arbonne just for a few weeks. My skin was not perfect but not too bad. I have pimples once in a while. The first week I used Arbonne, some pimples showed up. The lady I bought Arbonne from said the pimples might represent impurities and told me to keep using it. I bought the pimple supplements and hoped it would help clear my skin. The longer I used the products, the more pimples I had. I finally stopped using Arbonne. Even the supplements did not help my skin. Unfortunately I could not return the products since I had them more 30 days. I don’t see anybody using Arbonne has improved skin quality, except the ladies that I bought the products from and that was what they said. I did not see their skins before they used the products.

I have two friends, one started to sell Arbone around the same time my other friend’s daughter started to sell Mary Kay, we got together for lunch (I had not seen either one in almost a year). The one who sold and used Arbone looked like she had aged a lot, the other who used Mary Kay looked absolutely fabulous. I decided to use Mary Kay. I did go to an Arbone demonstration, they put a cracker in water and a cracker in oil and showed how the cracker dissolved in water not oil touting how your skin is the same, it will respond to water based products…. really? because my skin is so much like a cracker??? really stupid demonstration, they had a lot of flaws in their logic. Products are over priced, it is pyramid marketing of a poor product if you want my opinion. I was also pressured A LOT to sell the product to get it cheaper.

That’s a gross generalization and untrue characterization about the vast array products at the drug store. They have gone through years of research h and some do work. And lead based products, really? I had much success with one product. And yes I believe in health and wellness. That said, I’ve used Arbonne’s Re-9 lift with positive results and after hearing the rave reviews of both a friend and colleague, I decided to try the Re-9 Advanced. My face has broken out and as a result I’m going back to my tried and true – old ( drug store ) products to make my face clear again.

Great, sound like you will be the perfect person to answer my questions, I was given a sample kit of arbonne FC5. The products feel quite good on the skin, but my question is, the product formula seems quite old fashion and traditional, many more natural ingredients are not introduces in the range. For example, cabomer(synthetic) is used as the thickener of the range while natural alternative like guar gum or xanthan gum is available. Also the range was formulated with PEG, polysorbate instead of other natural solubiliser. For preservative phenoxyethanol and potassium sorbate are used but not something more natural like totarol. So my concern is why the company rather using synthetic chemical when other alternatives are available. I’m an skin care ingredient sales, I wouldn’t say I’m an expect, but I do have a bit of knowledge in regards to formula and ingredients since I communicate with cosmetic scientists on regular basis.

At the same time it will be great if you can explain how drugstores are selling products that are manufacture with ingredients from china and arbonne is not. Have you seen the certificate of origins of all arbonne ingredients to know where they purchase them from? There ain’t that many OEM manufacturers in the world, sometimes the most expensive skin care brand and the cheapest one can be manufactured under the same root. To be honest, many high quality good grade natural oil/essential oils(e.g. Camila tea oil) are indeed from, yes, you guess it right, CHINA!

Before you go out there to lecture others on how they should became a more educated consumer, I would suggest you to do your own research. Go to one of the skin care ingredient wholesaler website, try to work out the cost of your arbonne product and those garbage products, sees what the price differences are. I’m very interested to know how much money went to packaging, marketing, and your commission 🙂

I have not tried this line yet but, I’m a skincare fanatic and therefore, wanted to share my thoughts.
I’ve used everything from drugstore products to make-up companies for skin care (Channel, Lancome, etc…). For some time now, I’ve moved to using dermatologist developed lines and natural products only. So, I can tell you from long-term personal experience and research that there is not one product in this world that will cause positive results for everyone. We are all allergic to different things and have different skin tones, etc… I’d encourage you to remember that just because you are using an organic product, does not mean you will escape an allergic reaction. All skin products are derived from some of the same ingredients, even the ones at the drugstore. For example, I used “nettle” and “eyebright” in it’s purest form from Whole Foods and became very sick with a fever. These are 100% natural herbs derived from plants. I recently started using hip rose oil (which has done wonders for clearing up and smoothing my friend’s skin) and it’s only made my breakouts worse. It’s the same concept as being allergic to molds, weeds, etc… Unfortunately, it’s a trial by error scenario and you won’t know unless you try.

Since 1st hearing that Arbonne was a friends favorite product, who happens to be a Vegetarian (nearly Vegan) and has beautiful skin in her 60’s with no sign of cosmetic surgery; I had tried another product. The Sea Source Gelee given as a gift too soothe aching joints worked wonders. I have DJD. It smells like key lime pie, yet soothes, reduces swelling and bruises are cleared up almost instantly. I am 53 and noticed lines around my mouth and chin so decided to try the RE9 night face cream and day cream with spectrum 20 that my friend mentioned recommended. My Mom or my friends did not I was using them. I had dropped hints to my husband for Mothers day and got the 2 products. Soon after, in the car taking my Mom to the Doctor, while the natural light shows every line, my Mom out of the blue. said “I don’t see those lines at all, whatever you are using on your face is working!”. I told her it was the same company as the Gelee we shared. Now she is hooked. I know at the very bottom, after a long list of Vegan ingredients there is one that i have read is not natural, but it is the last of many incredible tropical ingredients only added for preservation. Nothing I have tried from a drug store even comes close to these 3 products. The gelee is a lifeaver for Joint disease, cooling lime for Hot sweats, and extracting fluid and toxins in bruising. I can’t imagine using anything else. So try it before judging it. Look in a mirror in a sunlit area, then look 3 weeks later. God Bless, J-Marie

I always have people , even strangers say ” you have the best looking skin”. Now I do use it everyday and always wash my face. My 14 years has a skin care program as well and rarely breaks out. I will say I cheated once and bought foundation from the store, and broke out…everyone has their preferences. I prefer Arbonne beauty products.

Drugstore products are toxic and made from lead based ingredients from china, Arbonne works and its not as expensive as you think, its about balance anyway and it is a lifestyle brand, if your are not interested in living through health and wellness, then Arbonne is not for you. My skin is more valuable to me than drugstore garbage skincare, that doesnt even work , do the same research of your garbage brands as you supposedly did of Arbonne and become an educated consumer.

I am going to my first party of this product today. I have read comments and how people talk about breaking out. As a licensed Cosmetologist I do know that a product that works to clear skin of blemishes will cleanse and bring out impurities in the skin which can/will lead to blemishes showing up for a while. If it does not clear up after a month or so then there is a possibility of a reaction the the product. Again, clearing skin of blemishes means deep cleaning and bringing forth the under skin impurities to be rid of them. Hope this will help to understand how deep cleansers work.

Just because it’s vegan friendly doesn’t mean it doesn’t use GMO friendly ingredients unfortunately. I’ve done my research and that’s the reason i left the company. Most products are no more than 20-30% “natural” ingredients. Paying those prices doesn’t mean that “natural” is also “organic”. Now think of it this way, if i dont put GMO foods in my body, why would i out them on my face? I am a biochemist who studies the elements within these products as a profession, and yes the opportunity and possibility of a better future with arbonne are great, but be it known that they are terribly misleading, as with many other products like it.

Ingredients for Fizz Sticks are the side of the box under Supplement Facts. The website provides a comprehensive Ingredient Guide describing each ingredient’s function. So if you have the box, you can go through the Ingredient Guide to learn more. Interesting thing I learned the other day… order for all products to be Vegan Certified, each ingredient must be vegan as we’ll. Also, Arbonne will dramatically update the website this Fall – let’s hope they add the individual lists for each product online – that’s a good idea. Hope you find what you are looking for!

  • Meg Original review: Jun 07, 2014. Reply

A comprehensive list is found online and in the catalog. Individual product ingredient lists are found on the box for each product. This is standard for any boxed OTC product such as Olay Day Cream with 15 SPF, Neutrogena Night Cream with Retinol, and prescription only brands like Finecea – you won’t find an ingredients list on the bottle, but it is required to be posted on the box. It’s like having the nutrition list on a bag of candy, but not on each candy. When sold unboxed, large bottles/bags (like CeraVe or Arbonne Essentials protein powder) the ingredients are listed the container. Also, ask any consultant for a product sample package and you’ll find the full ingredients list for each tiny sample bottle. Hope you find this helpful.

I too love the results I have received from Arbonne. Just like any company who has been around for over 30 years there is constant reformulation as research enhances and new info is found about an ingredient (ie if it’s harmful or beneficial) the product is changed to reflect that. The key formulator used to formulate for Aveda but when Estée Lauder bought them they introduced some lower quality and some cases more harmful ingredients so he stepped down. It frustrates me that people judge Arbonne on a few bad consultants or some poorly informed review that says there are harmful ingredients laced in them and don’t look into Arbonne close enough to realize that it was founded on a mere premise that Peter (scientist sick of all the crap ingredients being marketed for peoples skin) wanted to create a healthy effective skin care line. Vegan, a green commitment to environment, gluten free, cruelty free with 45 money back guarantee…with over 200 products to choose from. Think re9 is too expensive? There are cheaper lines – preferred clients can get a calm cleanser (that lasts about 9 – 14 months) for only $20! Find a rep that knows there stuff (perferrably not one who is going against company regulation and is soliciting themselves to be contacted on threads like this – consultants you look desperate when you do this a discredit reputable reps!! So please STOP!)

Arbonne is a very good brand and I like the entire range of Arbonne international. Arbonne products are made with so many natural ingredients and so the skin just loves them. The best product is Arbonne nutriminc re9 night cream. It has made my skin glow like never before. At first I found it a hassle to apply the cream before going to sleep. I would forget to apply it at least twice and even thrice during the week. When I realized that there were noticeable changes in my skin, I made it a point to follow this beauty regime every day. I have never been happier with my skin before. This is my preferred brand of anti aging products.

Well said Kathleen! And I agree with all of it! What works for one may not work for another…isn’t that true of everything in life! So if the products didn’t work for you, that doesn’t mean they’re bad or not legit, just means they are not the right ones for you or maybe the one you tried wasn’t the right one! Arbonne has been around for 34 years and growing bigger than ever…there’s a reason for that and it’s not because they aren’t an outstanding company with outstanding products and ethics!

So I never had acne problems or any problems with my face but never really used lotions for my face to take care of it, I have great family genes. Now that I’m 30 I started noticing the smallest little lines on my eyes so I figured try Arbonne since I’ve heard its a great product and that its natural. Anything organic is better than all the crap out there. So I think I’m allergic to the ingredient because I started breaking out from it within a week and it stings my skin everytime I use it. So I’m still giving Arbonne a shot and will try to use less of the RE9 regimen, maybe try using it once a day and less of the moisturizers. I did notice my lines go away around my eyes which is fantastic, but now I have to figure out a way to keep my face from breaking out. So it’s a give and take situation with Arbonne for me but I figure maybe my face is too oily for this product. Perhaps do they have an RE9 line for Oily skin? Either way its the first product that actually got rid of my tiny wrinkles so it definitely works!

I’m afraid 2 weeks is not enough time to see a visual difference and the smell is the natural ingredients. The wording “natural smell” doesn’t make sense because you can smell a cucumber and then smell an orange and one is obviously more intense but just as natural as the latter.

I’ve recently tested out arbonne’s acne products to get rid of my acne. Before I tired the product, I only had 2 pimples. They were going away regardless of this product. I only used it for 3 days. That was enough days for me to get 10 more pimples and on my left side of my face. I wished I never tired Arbonne. I wouldn’t be in this mess. I work with people and am self conscious about my looks. I recommend when trying this product to have emergency acne back up. Don’t throw your old stuff away. Also putting on the moisturizer make my skin heat up, turn a bit red and go away. If your products are working for you, don’t try Arbonne until it’s your last resort.

I have used some of Arbonnes “Male” products.
I found them very expensive (Prohibitively expensive for the average person to use regularly).
The products did not last long e.g. a moisterizer only lasted a week before the container was empty (At $30 something dollars) & I found no noticable improvement in my skin, hair etc.
I reckon the cheap products from the supermarket would be better value but even these dont work as advertised.
Probably a good diet would be the best remidy for skin ailments as well as clean water.

I was given the Arbonne RE9 to try, after using it for 5 days I was walking down the corridor at work and two colleagues asked me what was I using on my skin – it looked so healthy and glowing! I would not swop my RE9 products for anything – my lines round my eyes are less pronounced and my skin does look much younger than my 3 younger sisters.
Having seen how the products improved my skin I decided to join as a Consultant and haven’t looked back.

Hi Imogen please check your instructions for the Cellular Renewal Masque. You leave it on for 5-7 minutes ONLY, no longer. your skin around your eyes is very delicate and you shouldn’t be applying the masque too close to your eyes. The masque definitely works for fine lines, open pores, pigmentation and skin smoothness etc, but needs to be used per instructions. Have you tried The Genius resurfacing pads as they are also a brilliant product. As this is an old post I am hoping you have already received this info.

I’ve been using Arbonne for about 7 years. My daughter used the Acne Line. I’ve used RE9 and FC5 alternatively for Winter and Summer. I am 45 and live in the desert. I like no animal testing! I won’t use products that have been stuck in the eyes of monkeys, dogs, pigs, whatever it’s pitiful! I haven’t had any problems with any of the items and I’m as pale as a person can be with super sensitive skin. I don’t use any primer that was referenced but do utilize my cleanser, serum, toner, and mostly the night creams during the day (remember it’s the desert).

My Aunt had been using the products up until last year and switched to Mary Kay, she looks 20 years older (lives in the desert) but retirement is what happens… choices on spending.

I am also into essential oils, so I utilize Doterra’s Immortele mixed in with my serum which stretches out both products. I do believe everything put on your skin absorbs into your organs.

My husband purchased Au Naturel Botanicals while traveling as a gift when I met up with him. I like it but I only use it in rotation to give my skin a break.

I think you have to try things that go along with your values and try them out. Like said above many times everyone’s skin is different. I also think that everyone does the hard sell during recession no matter what the product is… it’s up to the individual to determine if the product is what they desire.

    Hello Everyone,

There is no need to bicker. People are going to use what they want to and believe what they want to believe, based on results and or mindset. I am a user of both Mary Kay and Arbonne. I love Mary Kay’s products for the pricing and I love Arbonne’s products for the results. It really works for me. Unfortunately, everyone will have a different experience with different products because we have different skin and body types and our skin/body reacts differently to certain products. If the product does’nt or did not work for you – get over it. If Arbonne is a scam, than so is Mary Kay and all the other companies like it. They are all multi-level marketing companies which provides the incentive of work at home and a variety of other perks, which I love.

If you want 100% natural, then peel a cucumber and put in your eyes for the best natural effect; put cocobutter on your skin for moisturize and cleanse your face with lemon and water. There you go – all natural. Otherwise, we will run into the risk of having some sort minor ill – effect. All of these products work to some degree, for some people but not all.

I had used Avon for a long time because my mom sold it. In my twenties, my skin was getting worse and worse. I accidentally ran out of my Avon salicylic acid cream, and in a few weeks noticed fewer blemishes. I decided to try the RE9 set and my skin got much better. I still need to exfoliate, because the RE9 cleanser removes makeup but not enough dead skin, but I am so happy with my skin now.

I think Arbonne works for me because I have sensitive and oily skin. Chemicals, even anti acne ones, make me break out. Because my skin produces a lot of oil, it’s more important than I initially realized to keep my skin moisturized, so that the oil wouldn’t get trapped under dead skin.

Conclusion: For me, Arbonne > Avon

Quick question -how can anyone sell skin care to clients who have never been received any formal education on skin? (by education I mean an accredited school resulting in being a certified medical aesthetician – NOT a weekend training seminar) As a professional in the industry for 10+ yrs working in cosmetic clinics and plastic surgeons offices with a background in nutrition -Arbonne is not what it is cracked up to be-I see several clients a month who’s skin has been affected by Arbonne. How can “consultants” consult without formal education on skin?

I started using Arbonne in early 2013 and both my teenage daughters and I (and my husband) fell in love with the products. So much so that I decided I would become a consultant and share the products with others. My face never looked better! I’m 51 and get compliments on my skin all the time. I also use the nutrition and weight management products. They are all wonderful.

I have the exactly same problem. I had to stop using arbonne because of the deep, large acne that won’t come out and create scaring and bumps. I never ever in my life had that and I’m afraid the scares won’t go away. Did yours go away Kim?

I’m an Independant Consulltant with Arbonne International and I love Arbonne! Arbonne products deliver what they say – they are pure, safe and beneficial. Means a lot to me as I have multiple allergies and sensitivities. The income is rewarding and the company is incredibly generous. The products are the best I’ve used and I won’t be changing to anything else, My skin is radiant and young looking and I am often mistaken for my daughter’s sister… that’s the best compliment ever as they are late twenties, early thirties. The protein shakes keep me looking good and are a great meal. I can’t recommend Arbonne enough. Visit my website for more info and enjoy.

I started the RE9 only 4 days ago. My son-in-commented on how great my skin looked, he does not hand put compliments often. My daughter thought I had on makeup and I didn’t.For me it is somewhat higher than what I normally buy but it makes me feel good to know I am not loading up my face with chemicals for a change. I am hyper sensitive to smells (can cause migraines) and I have no issues with Arbonne. I love it, I feel my skin looks better everday!!!!

I just bought Arbonne Nurturing Day Lotion and I just have to mention the feeling on my skin after lady that sold this product to me, applied some of the creme on my hand. The skin on that part stayed soooooo smooth and soft for a whole day. That made me convinced to buy that lotion and try it. So I will just say, that was a good first impression.

Im an Arbonne Consultant, and I must say I totally love my business!!! Arbonne offers pure, safe, and beneficial products and that’s exactly what you get! We value what we do, serving people and serving them well is our goal. I love our products, they truly make a difference. We don’t “sell products” as someone said, the products truly sell themselves. Our products bring change, people start looking in the mirrors again, they bring hope and comfort. I value my company, giving is what it’s all about and Arbonne does just that. To the ones that had a bad experience I urge you to please don’t give up, our products are the TRUTH!!! When breakout occurs it’s only because your skin hasn’t been introduced to natural products, it has to adjust and trust me it will. You will feel better, look better, and everything around you will be better. I LOVE ARBONNE!!! 😉

I turned 50 this year. I started using Arbonne a few months before that birthday (the RE9 Advanced range). Without a doubt I look five or six years younger than before using Arbonne. The rings and wrinkles under my eyes are vastly improved, my skin is clear and I notice the difference if I stop using Arbonne for more than three days. I haven’t had a facial this year and am using the money I would have spent on other skin care or facials (which was not a great amount) to fund my ongoing use of Arbonne. I can’t imagine stopping using the products.

I am an Arbonne lover. I started using it 8 years ago and selling it 5 years ago. I sell it only because I love it. In response to the question about ingredients. One of the reason why I love Arbonne is because they do give you a complete list of the ingredients. If you can’t find it get ahold of a consultant. We all have access to each products list and you should get your questions answered 🙂

I have a friend who was trying to get me to join Arbonne. I have been cynical for months until she gave me the Calm range to keep and use because she said she is so positive about the product. I thought I better use the stuff because its £100 worth of stuff….I have to say I LOVE this range. My skin feels so soft and hydrated as well as clear and smooth. I love my MAC and bareMinerals makeup but I am going to invest in some Arbonne makeup after she let me play around with hers. Im actually surprised at how much I want to get.

I’m not sure how you found those ingredient lists on the website. I followed your link and was able to get them but if you just go to the main home page I can’t find a way to get back to what I viewed. Perhaps it’s an old version of the website that somehow is still available in the interweb galaxy?!

Regardless, I have purchased Arbonne products and the ingredients are listed on the packaging. And not just the ‘key botanicals’, I mean the full ingredient list. I realize that giving the ingredients after it’s already purchased doesn’t help the consumer make an educated decision, but I don’t believe the company is trying to hide anything. Simply ask your consultant for the original packaging that s/he uses for demonstrations or for the kit you get to take home and try.

Also, Arbonne has published that they are in the process of getting the ingredients back up on to their website. This might also be different for each country’s website.

I have not used Arbonne’s products and am just now investigating them for my family’s use and wanted to say that I have found the ingredients listed for every item I have looked for on Arbonne’s website. For example, here is one product line and the ingredients are listed on the bottom part of the graphic for each product.
I’ve also looked up the ingredients for the protein powders and some of the other supplements.
Their website may not be the best or easiest to navigate, but they do not appear to be withholding information.

Just google “Arbonne scams” to find out the truth. The list of people scammed is ENDLESS. Then Look at You tube videos of even MORE people testifying about the scam. 🙁 It’s a sad truth.
It’s a FACT that Arbonne is a multi- level marketing company that preys on women, promising big & delivering little.
By the way, one of their MANY chemically derived ingredients is retinyl palmitate. somehow they call that pure, but it’s in any old drugstore sunscreen – and retinyl palmitate has been found to cause tumors. Sorry for the bad news.

However, I was on a furlough from work and since I wasn’t going out much, I figured I’d suffer through to see if my consultant was telling the truth. 2 weeks later and the results are amazing! All of the pimples have gone away and I finally am seeing the skin I had before adult acne hit me. 🙂

Seems shady. I gave up on arbonne about two wks into it.

Lisa, thank you for posting as I feel that I’m not alone now. Exact same experience- Used it for two weeks then WHAM – a scattering of tiny pimples on my temples and cheeks- hard, bumpy pimples. Never had acne in my life and have had flawless skin except for age (52). I read the reviews too late and should have done some research before buying. My consultant is telling me that it is because toxins from my skin are coming to the surface and it is normal. The problem is that my skin is horrendous looking. No product should make a person endure this.

Trish …. Arbonne can NEVER!!! be put in the same category as Avon and MaryKay!! Take a look at an ingredient label!! And the ill-effects that Avon and MaryKay can have on your health. Keep in mind that ingredients that go ON your skin, absorb into your body. Why take a risk at putting unsafe chemicals, mineral oil and animal by-products into your body?? If you do some research on ingredience and the effect they have on your organs … you will quickly refrain from that comparison ever again! Hope this helps you!!

A co-worker who is an Arbonne consultant gave me some samples to try since my face has started breaking out badly. I did a little research on the company, and I have a question. Where is the full list of ingredients for the products? Key ingredients are only listed in the catalog. That doesn’t tell me everything that is contained in the products. I want to know EVERYTHING that is in there. Where do I find this? If the company claims that their products are safe and beneficial, they should have no problem disclosing all ingredients.

I was using Arbibbe RE9 and the makeup primer for about 2 weeks and all of a sudden I broke out on my forehead and chin in a mass of pimples, and my skin was very, very oily. I immediately discontinued using the product about a week ago. I have not had a breakout like that EVER in my life. My skin is starting to calm down, and the pimples are healing.

I am not an Arbonne consultant but I love all of their products. I am actually a massage therapist and I know a lot about the body and skin and how it works and the skin care lines you talk about that you can get so much cheaper at a drug store are absolutely terrible for your skin. Mineral oil is in all of those and that is awful for your skin and it is in everything and they have even changed the name in some products not to mention the many other chemicals in them to. In massage school we are taught to never use it because it prevents your skin from breathing which can lead to many other skin issues. I used pro active when i was younger and it made my face look worse than it ever did. I love that they don’t put all those harmful chemicals in the products. They are so much better for your skin and health over all because you have to think about what you put into your skin gets absorbed into your body as well!! As far as the price it is expensive but you get what you pay for and I can personally say that I have had my make up foundation for over a year and still I am not close to running out. You don’t have to use a lot of these products and they will last you forever. If you count up how much money you spend on drug store cosmetics every month you could have already bought the foundation and had it for a year. Their products are amazing and My skin and body love them I recommend them to every one.

I recently purchased the Arbonne soothing facial serum from the new “calm” line of products because I have sensitive/combination skin. I first heard of Arbonne when a coworker was having an Arbonne facial party at her home. I loved the products we tested and saw almost immediate results. When the serum came, I started using it 2x a day after normal cleansing and after only a week or so I noticed that my skin does not dry out like it used to NOR does it get oily at the end of the day. The serum itself is loose but absorbs quickly into the skin. I also notice that my skin tone is even and I don’t see any dark spots or marks! All around great product, and well worth the money- $45 for the serum but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I am a new Arbonne Consultant, The products are awesome, beneficial and not harmful. I had been getting acne around my mouth recently due to menopause and since using Arbonne I have had no breakouts and my husband thinks that I wear makeup now lol. Bottom line is this, what you put on your skin is absorbed into your body, do you really want to have all the harmful ingredients that are in most products these days going through your body. Its bad enough that we breath, eat and drink garbage do yourself a favor and try Arbonne and feel the difference. When you use our products you will have the peace of mind that they work, they are healthy and no animals were harmed in the process of making them. I will never use anything else, I love it and its done wonders for my skin.

Met a young consultant who is so push and inexperienced with skin care and so desperate for me to try the free trial sizes of the Re9 skin care that I did. I have aging, oily skin and found the products to be weak and overprices and, more importantly, the reviews are too controversial leaning towards the negative. The consultants really only make their money on overrides if you decide to become a consultant or a preferred client.
Bottom line you can get better anti aging products at the drugstore with L’Oreal, Neutrogena or Olay !

Lori…I wouldn’t advertise that your company created proactive…it’s a toxic product. (although your current product line may not be) My clients have shown me their towels, completely bleached after proactive use by their teenagers. They switched to arbonne’s clear advantage line and their teens achieved similar or better results, from botanically based ingredients. And yes, I’m a very enthusiastic Arbonne consultant. (.com for USA pricing, but my personal Canadian site will tell you a little more) Have a look at the new Genius product if you are concerned about anti-aging. Product development have measured, using calipers, the decrease in wrinkle depth. It also helps with redness, blotchiness, roughness and acne!

I thnk we all have to remember everyones skin is different. What might work for you may not work for me. I have sensitive skin and have tried almost every product. Last time I had a facial was at an Elle Bache Salon (gift voucher from well meaning husband), When I came out I looked as though I had spent the day in the sun my skin was bright red. Clinique, Clarins, Revlon, Natio and many more all make my skin react. Recently I started using Arbonne the Calm Range as a friend’s daughter had started selling the product and I thought I’d give it a try as they have a money back guarantee. Well my skin loves it, friends have commented on how good my skin looks. I am 60 so I am very happy with that. What I like about Arbonne is you get to use the products for a week (trial pack) and if you like it place an order and THEN you still have a 45 day money back guarantee. For me this product really works

An interesting article .. although I can not help thinking one sided. I appreciate that you are trying to sell your product, however you state that the product is made without a list of chemical ingredients (including common bulking agents) and yet you give the formula only a 3/10 rating, I would be curious as to how the scoring was done.

I guess to some a lack of that list makes the product work better in there mind – although I searched on each one, and feel I would rather not be using them … maybe arbonne is moving in the right direction – especially with no animal testing and being vegan friendly

After using Arbonne products for about 2 years, I decided to become a consultant just a few days ago. Personally, I’m a 20 year old college student with a low income and sensitive/dry skin. The price of the product was worth it, because I never really use a whole lot; some of the things I bought the first time I came in contact with Arbonne are still in my makeup bag! The products are gentle and don’t irritate and dry out my skin, and it all smells nice and feels good on my skin.
The only thing that I have a problem with in Arbonne, is that the cosmetics do need to be reapplied every once in a while. They do not contain many chemicals that keep cosmetics from fading, getting wiped away by a stray hand, or etc; however, I don’t mind this, because the things that do cause makeup to stay in place are usually harmful.

Hilda, I’m a consultant for Rodan+fields and the hype is there because their products actually work to crevice & maintain the process our skin takes while aging. Arbonne is a natural & more easy going product, r+f is multi-med based mixed w/ botanicals just below prescription. You WILL see results! R+f was created by Stanford dermatology graduates who took the skincare problems & needs of their patients to the lab to create products that work & show amazing transformations of skin. They also have a Macro exfoliator that slufs off 5 million dead skin cells when used once per week. Arbonne has nothing line this. All their products are FDA approved & tested in clinical studies. Try us! I love the products!!! Visit my website or email me [email protected] to discuss your skincare needs.

They have started a new company & their products are multi-med based…prescription mixed w/botanicals. These products work & you will see results in your skin. R+F is HOT right now & they’re branching into Canada…people LOVE the results they see w/ their 4 anti-aging skincare & essentials line. I’m also hiring for consultants on my team…spread the word. If interested in product visit my website or email me [email protected] arbonne is a good product, but it it’s not going to give u same skin changing results as r+f…which works below the surface to tackle aging skincare issues, such deep lines, age spots, redness, large pores. Email me, be happy to chat w/ you about your skincare needs. Best, Lori
