-Crepe Erase

Anyone who flips through tv channels will admit to get drawn into a mesmerizing beauty infomercial with dramatic before and after images, and one ad on constant rotation with striking results is for Crépe Erase. This cream is promoted by actresses Jane Seymour and Courtney Thorne-Smith and promises to make skin smoother, firmer and more hydrated. But what exactly is Crépe Erase, and does it work? But first, what is crepey skin?

What Is Crepey Skin?

Crépe Erase targets crepey skin, which isn’t exactly the same thing as a wrinkle. Crepey skin is named for its namesake crepe paper, which is dry, tissue thin and crinkly. Crepey skin shows up on the arms, chest, knees and back of hands, where the skin looks fragile and saggy. In scientific terms, it represents the thinning of the dermis and epidermis. Anyone can get crepey skin but those with fair skin are more susceptible to it.

One of the main causes of crepey skin is sun damage, as damaging rays from the sun break down the elastin in the skin. Elastin is what gives skin its ability to “bounce back” and look firm. As collagen and elastin deteriorate over time, the creases on skin become more prominent and skin starts to look saggy. Damage is often cumulative and develops over months and years.

What is Crépe Erase?

Crépe Erase is a body cream that promises to improve the signs of crepey skin. The infomercials show dramatic before and after photos, where skin that formerly looked as creased as an accordion becomes smooth and soft. As the company explains, the cream is meant to be used “under the chin” so can be applied to the body where crepey skin is evident, such as arms, thighs and knees.

The cream is just one part of the process. The company sells two different skincare systems – a basic two piece regimen and a more comprehensive five piece kit- that are designed to exfoliate the skin to prepare it for treatment. Think of it as a two pronged approach to crepey skin – exfoliation reveals smoother looking skin and which is followed up by intense hydration.

The powerhouse ingredient in Crépe Erase is TruFirm, which the company says is a proprietary blend of plant derived extracts sourced from apple, dill and sage. In its infomercials, Crépe Erase says it works by “targeting the dermal enzymes that break down collagen and helps promote healthy elastin, so that skin looks smoother and softer.”

What Does Crépe Erase Sell?

The Crépe Erase company sells its signature product, known as Crépe Erase Advanced Body Treatment, along with other items. Here’s a closer look.

Restorative Facial Treatment

The Restorative Facial Treatment is specifically designed for the face and contains hydrating ingredients like Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter. It also contains TruFirm, which they claim supports skin’s natural elastin production. The product contains Tocopheryl Acetate, which is a type of Vitamin E. The texture is rich and it is suitable for normal to dry skin.

BEST ALTERNATIVES FOR FACE AND NECK: Carrot & Stick The Repair Serum. This high-performance serum by Carrot & Stick is designed to visibly lift, tighten and firm as it helps defend against damaging free radicals.

Overnight Facial Plumping Treatment

The Overnight Facial Plumping Treatment is a deeply hydrating cream containing TruFirm, echinacea and plenty of moisturizers including shea butter, coconut oil, grapeseed oil and dill extract.

BEST ALTERNATIVES FOR FACE AND NECK: Carrot & Stick The Concentrate. It contains  a plant-based collagen blend from rice, soy, carrot, quinoa, and ginseng, for smoother, firmer looking skin.

Body Smoothing Pre-Treatment

The Body Smoothing Pre-Treatment is an exfoliator that is meant to be applied in the shower or the bath, and contains TruFirm complex along with alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxy acids, which are naturally derived from foods and plants. The exfoliator also contains salicylic acid, which comes from willowbark. These acids work by dissolving dead skin cells to reveal smoother skin with improved texture.

Other Crépe Erase products are meant to treat specific body areas, such as the Anti-Aging Hand Repair Treatment. The cream also contains TruFirm Complex along with hydrating ingredients such as shea butter, and squalene, an oil which is harvested from olives, rice bran or sugar cane. Dimethicone, a silicone, as well as dill oil extract and coconut alkanes, derived from coconut oil, round out the ingredient list.

Flaw Fix Eye Cream

The Flaw Fix Eye Cream can be applied twice a day and is meant to soften the look of fine lines and crow’s feet in the eye area, along with reducing under eye puffiness. The cream contains apple and dill extract, as well as dimethicone.

BEST ALTERNATIVES FOR EYES:  If you are concerned about aging and crepey skin around the eyes, one product we recommend is Carrot & Stick The Eye Cream.

Four In One Eye Renewal Capsules

The Four In One Eye Renewal Capsules are serum-filled ampoules that can be applied to the eye area once a day. The serum is meant to tackle fine lines and crow’s feet thanks to grape oil extract and caprylic/capric triglycerides which are derived from coconut oil and glycerin.

QVC’s sells an expanded range of products from Crépe Erase, including Crépe Erase Refining Facial Scrub, Crépe Erase Flaw-Fix Crepey Lip and Crépe Erase Facial Polish.

BEST ALTERNATIVES FOR EYES: Carrot & Stick The Eye Serum. A blend of advanced peptides reduces the look of lines and crepiness.

What Ingredients Are In Crépe Erase?

According to the company, the power house ingredient in Crépe Erase is TruFirm, which is formulated with phytonutrients, which are derived from plants. The formula includes extracts of apple, dill and sage which are thought to support elastin and the skin’s resilience, resulting in firmer, smoother looking skin. Apple is thought to support the skin’s structure while dill oil is meant to promote elastin production. Sage is believed to target the signs of aging.

Other key ingredients in Crépe Erase products are known to be potent—but common- moisturizers such as coconut oil, olive oil and shea butter. Some of the products contain dimethicone, a type of silicone that feels like silk on the skin, and glycerin, a humectant.

As Elle, our in house biochemist and skincare specialist discussed, it is hard to determine if Crépe Erase is beneficial for reducing the appearance of thinned skin as we don’t know what is in the TruFirm complex.

A look at the ingredients list shows a hydrating formulation with some key plant-based extracts.

As far as the research goes, there are only a few ingredients that will help with thinning skin, the main one is retinoids. Retinoids work by thickening the skin and helping to support your skin’s natural production of collagen. Retinoids are not a key ingredient in the Crépe Erase.

The other way to minimise the appearance of thinning skin is through hydration. This is where the Crépe Erase product focuses. Crépe Erase includes a number of heavy oils, silicones and glycerine which help to add oil and water-based moisture into the skin.

Some people will enjoy the oil-based formulation of the Crépe Erase but it may not be for everyone, as the reviews suggest.

How Much Do Crépe Erase Products Cost?

Crépe Erase products are only sold as part of a kit when purchased directly from the company but are sold individually on Amazon, Ulta and QVC.

The Advanced 2 Step Essentials Kit contains the Body Smoothing Pre-Treatment along with the Crépe Erase Advanced Body Treatment for $39.95.

The Five Piece system sells for $59.95 and contains all of the items including The Body Smoothing Pre-Treatment, the Anti-Aging Hand Repair Treatment, the Overnight Facial Plumping Treatment and The Flaw Fix Eye Cream.

Does Crépe Erase Work?

Crépe Erase calls itself “the #1 anti-aging body treatment system for dry, crepey skin” which the company says is based on their own sales along with NRI and NPD sales data for 2017. The company says that the product is “clinically shown to improve the look of dry, crépey skin on the body.

“ The Crépe Erase website lists statistics from “a 54-person evaluation by an expert clinical grader measuring décolleté, knees, and arms” and concluded that 80% of women saw an instant reduction in the look of crepey skin on the body after one use; 86% of women saw a visible improvement in skin tone on the body in four weeks and 91% of women saw a lifted appearance of the skin after 8 weeks.

The company also highlights testimony from its celebrity spokespeople. Actress Jane Seymour says, “Ever since I have used Crépe Erase, I just have so much more confidence in my body and certainly in my skin. I am really embracing 67. You can be fearless in your 60s.” Former Olympic figure skater Dorothy Hamill, 62, another spokesperson, says “The new Crépe Erase is so luxurious, and it absorbs even faster, and my skin stays hydrated even longer …it really works and that’s why I use it every day, all day long.”

On Amazon, Crépe Erase Advanced Body System has 357 customer reviews, and an average of 3.5 stars. Forty-three percent of reviewers give it 5 stars with feedback such as “Crêpe Erase is probably the best skin-care line I have ever come across — and I’ve pretty much tried them all.” Another reviewer writes, “This product is amazing. I had some severe sun damage and had deep wrinkles on my upper chest. This product has smoothed out the wrinkles. Will buy it again!!!”

The reviewers who were not happy with the product had similar complaints. Many said that the product simply didn’t work or that it felt too rich. Twenty percent of reviewers gave it a one star rating. “I’ve been using it for over three months and see no difference. The product is greasy and leaves residue on clothing too. I would not recommend it…”

Amazon sells all of the Crépe Erase products individually and each gets a 3-4 star rating. The Exfoliating Body Polish gets a solid 4 star rating, based on 99 reviews.

Allure magazine reviewed Crépe Erase in 2015, when multiple staff members tried out the body cream. Their consensus was the cream was deeply hydrating but could be too hydrating as it had a tendency to feel greasy and slimy. Staffers raved that it was great on their cuticles but made one reviewer stick to their sheets at night.

The bottom line? Crépe Erase is a deeply hydrating cream which can be helpful for seriously parched skin. It may help severely dehydrated skin look smoother thanks to a heavy dose of oils but it doesn’t “erase” lines.

Why You Should Use a Skin Supplement to Support Collagen

Collagen adds density and plumpness to your skin.

In your 20’s and 30’s, natural collagen production starts to decline.

When natural collagen declines, skin loses its elasticity and bounce. This contributes to lines, wrinkles and a loss of firmness.

If you are over 30, we recommend including a plant based collagen support supplement in your skincare routine.

Our recommendation is Collagen Bounce. It supports skin’s natural collagen production, inside out.

Where Can I Buy Crépe Erase?

Crépe Erase is sold on the company website and is also found on Ulta.com and Amazon as well as QVC.

What Is The Crépe Erase Return Policy?

The company says it offers a 60 day money back guarantee.

What Are Some Alternatives to?

If you’re looking for skincare products to address the signs of aging, we recommend Carrot & Stick. Carrot & Stick maximizes the use of powerful ingredients and minimizes the use of superficial ones, resulting in advanced skincare solutions that help promote healthy, more youthful-looking skin.

We recommend The Complete Collection for face, neck and around the eyes.

Alternatively, Carrot & Stick’s Eye Essentials is a specific program for skin around the eyes.

Buyer Beware of Crepe Erase and their shady business practices. I purchased their kit for 79.99+, not realizing it was an autoship. I tried the products and my skin felt nice for an hour or so but that was about it. Everything was applied as directed with no visible results. My eyes actually felt puffy and tired. I received an email that I was charged $109 and the next shipment was in process. I contacted customer service to be told it was too late to cancel the shipment and I was going to be billed an additional $109 in March and $109 in April. I told them I would be returning the next shipment and they will refund my money less any shipping and handling. Hopefully they will abide by this. It doesn’t work and it’s too expensive.

Sue, I cancelled my subscription also. So sad. Gold Bond has a product that I am using now. I like it but oh how I wish Crépe Erase hadn’t messed with their formula.

  • Silinda Original review: Jan 05, 2024. Reply

I have used this product every day for 1 year. It does not work. The scrubs they give you are a waste of money. You can buy much cheaper at walmart.
I see no difference in my skin. I’m only 59 years old. Product does not smell nice. You end up spending over a $1000 a year for nothing. No changes in skin… I would not recommend this to anybody.

  • Sue Original review: Dec 21, 2023. Reply

Unfortunately, the new formula is very disappointing. I was a subscriber and loved the original formula, citrus scent. However, the “Ultra” formula feels a bit waxy, and the scent is terrible! I canceled my subscription.

  • Sue Original review: Dec 21, 2023. Reply

    Cynthia,
I’m so glad I found your review. I thought I was losing my mind. The new scent is absolutely horrible! I used to love the citrus scent, but now I can hardly bear using it. I canceled my subscription with Crepe Erase because of it. I’m so sad! Is there any way to get the original formula and scent?

  • Juno Original review: Dec 04, 2023. Reply

Excellent review. I found another comparison blog about crepe erase here, I think the alternative serves more or less the same purpose but for a cheaper price

  • Cynthia Original review: Nov 14, 2023. Reply

Big fan for years but sometime between late 2022 and early 2023, they changed the formula. The cream has an unpleasant odor now. Like cheap “chocolate” flavored lotion …. im trying to get used to it because the cream is very effective but it literally stinks now.

  • Diana Hester Original review: Sep 03, 2023. Reply

I am glad I did NOT read the reviews before I bought. I absolutely love this product. I have only used for 2 days and my skin is markedly better. My husband has been out of town and was astonished at how soft my skin was. I love the way it feels. Perhaps you people are just not old enough to appreciate what REAL crepey skin is because it works fantastically. PS. I am 71. How old are you.

  • Karen Mandel Original review: Aug 10, 2023. Reply

All I did was call them and they took my 1 time order over the phone without auto pay.

  • Lauren Valentina Original review: Mar 29, 2023. Reply

I ordered once then immediately postponed the first ‘refill shipment’ to as late as possible, as a precaution.
I received the product 4 days early! Very timely shipping.
The product did not work any better than a standard moisturizer. I used it as a moisturizer for a month, and it was fine.
When I called to cancel, the representative was very kind and easy to work with. She cancelled my account and subsequent orders, sent me the return shipment label, and instructed me on my next steps.
I received the label within a week, returned the product free of charge, and provided them with my tracking number.
My refund was issued within a week.
NOTE: Customer service was IRREPROACHABLE!! but product was meh …

  • Donna DeFede Original review: Mar 13, 2023. Reply

They definitely changed the formula. I have used this product for years and it has been the best product I have used on my legs and arms. HOWEVER, they did change the formula and the unscented has an awful, awful smell. I loved the old product because it was unscented. The new formula is not. They are taking back the two jars I have and replacing with the Citrus Scent and hopefully that won’t stink like the unscented does.

Have contacted 3 times and they said there was no record of my order, although I have confirmation mail and no record of payment from PayPal even tho I have the charge on my bank statement. OR DID! Since I started inquiring, and they told me there was no such order, I cannot get anything out of them. Payment was taken out of my account then shut down. This is third transaction scam like this. My face was like a reptile after using the face products. It’s awful and scary. I want to know if it is fda approved. The nerve of them it’s a scam and a gimmick. Then they said in small print how I’ll be billed another $350 after I payed $80. I’m telling my bank to cancel my card so they don’t sneak up on me and take my money for more products. What an unethical uncaring way to treat elderly women. I’m only 54 but I’m angry for the elderly and myself.

    2. So, called the 24/7 ‘customer service’ phone number.
    3. Got a recording that said they couldn’t take my call.

I had the same experience. It’s a scam, and you either have to cancel your credit card or wait till it expires which is what I did. I tried to call them and explain when I first realized I was being charged for a program I did not sign up for but they kept at it. It’s a nightmare.

Tired old recording over and over until I am ready to SCREAM…and DO!!! It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a human being. I am getting ready to SUE if they do not cancel any future shipments. I have spent HOURS AND HOURS trying to contact them. I HATE THIS USELESS PRODUCT and I never asked for a huge shipment that would cost me a fortune. They, of course, don’t WARN you about that. STOP NOW, because I am ready to call one of the attorneys I used to work for

Exactly what just happened to me. I didn’t realize this was a subscription either. Guess I shoulda done more homework on that. Now I’m out $57 toward a $171 order I don’t want. And I have to wait to receive it & then pay to have it returned. What a disreputable company! I know they haven’t shipped it because there’s no tracking available, but they say too late to cancel this shipment and I’m just gonna have to go through this hassle.

I’m not going to comment on the effectiveness of the product because I haven’t used it long enough. However, I will say that I feel the company is unethical and very sneaky. I ordered three of their products and was expecting to pay 59.95 however, I received five products for $276.74. This price was not reflected on my order so I was blindsided. Just be very careful when ordering this product. And it better be magical.

  • Ramona Ingrassia Original review: Aug 06, 2022. Reply

I haven’t tried it but I was talking to a girlfriend about it and then she sent me this. I should keep my mouth shut until I read reviews. I’ve only used a product that helps with puffiness under eyes and it seems to do the trick but it’s not permanent. I haven’t had any reaction to it. I think you just have to face the fact that we all grow old and you just have to age gracefully and embrace it. If you can figure something out that helps you that isn’t a disappointment, share it with others. Definitely the reviews on this are terrible. Shame on Jane is right. I’m sure she doesn’t use the product.

Blood stains under the surface of the skin everywhere covering my arms. I can just barely bump into something and it looks like i was in a serious car accident by the next morning. I’ve always admired Jane Seymour and have been a great fan. I’m sure she has seen the negative reviews about her product and therefore won’t respond because the negative reviews are all true. Crepe Erase products are typically purchased as part of a kit. The standard kit includes 5 products: Body Smoothing Pre-Treatment, Advanced Body Repair Treatment, Refining Facial Scrub, Restorative Facial Treatment and Flaw-Fix Eye Cream. Cerpe Erase Advanced Body Repair Treatment is the most popular treatment in the range. The price of this kit is $59. There is also a 2 product kit which costs 39.95. Crepe Erase has also launched additional products that are not part of the kit, which include the Anti-Aging Hand Repair Treatment, Toning and Tightening Body Serum, Hydrating Body Toning Mist, Anti-Aging Hand Repair Treatment and Overnight Facial Plumping Treatment. It can also be purchased through various retailers including Amazon, QVC Walmart, Ulta and Walmart. You should purchase through a third party retailer if you prefer to avoid membership. I called and cancelled but I have to pay shipping back to them! I never signed up for this! I was so upset. Don’t waste your money! It says you need to use both the exfoliator and the cream every day for 8 weeks to see a difference. That will be impossible especially the time consuming routine. This is not a fair company.

I tried this product and was highly allergic to it so I called and canceled within a month. I told the representative that something was causing an anaphylactic reaction in me where my throat and ears were closing off. She sent me an email confirming the cancellation. Yet another two more payments came through PayPal! They said that if I had looked closely at my cancellation email I would see I owed a balance. How is that possible. I paid the designated amount via pay pal when I ordered and I canceled within 60 days. 1 shipment has cost me over $200 now for something i am allergic to and has driven up my doctor bills. This is the Opposite of money back guaranteed and we should start a class action lawsuit against companies who rip people off, especially during a pandemic.

Fourth I don’t want any automatic delivery.

No product works for everyone. I’ve tried both Crepe Erase and Advanced Dermatology products. I live in Colorado and it is a very dry climate; I love the Advanced Dermatology line but it doesn’t hydrate enough for this climate. The Crepe Erase is more hydrating but it is not a cure all. A lot of individuals don’t take their current skin condition, lifestyle and genetics into account when buying products to fit their needs. A bit of research prior to purchase doesn’t hurt.

The product has shown marginal results if any. The scrub produced no results. The Body Smoothing Pre Treatment Exfoliator was totally ineffective as was the Repair Treatment. To add insult to injury, when I placed an order for the introductory package, a month later, I was charged a month later for an installment for the full package. The full package is +$200.00!! When I inquired, I was told that I signed up for a “membership” which would replenish every 90 days! I did not! AND, they attempted to charge me twice within a day of each other for the same installment. Poor product. Shady bsuiness.

I’m on week 4, it hydrates very well and rubs in very well too. DO NOT go out in the sun without a very high SPF. My face felt like it was on FIRE. The exfoliating face scrub makes my skin very dry… Everything else is nice, there’s no such thing as a cure all.

If u watch the commercials closely u will notice a soft, blurred lens is used on the close ups……similar 2 what was used on Mae West her 80s when she made Sextet. The women in the commercials don’t even look real. If the stuff actually worked it wouldn’t be offered as an “as seen on television” product.

I received my order yesterday, & using the eye cream, my eyes started to burn! I washed it off immediately, and put an ice pack on my eyes, they were swollen and red and I just could not see for a while…I believe I am allergic to this makeup and am requesting to send it back and have my account cancelled and the payment returned! Thank you very much, but I realize I am allergic to it!

I am very disappointed with all the product in the introductory kit were as follows:

“Intensive Body Repair Treatment…The skin balm is not not well blended. It has hardened pieces of a waxy substance. It feels very gritty until the waxy granular melt.

“Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion”… The lotion is similar OCT moisturizing lotions. There is NO SPF protection added.

“Refining Facial Scrub…Very gritty with larger than average particles to are difficult to remove with rinsing with or without a washcloth.

“Exfoliating Body Polish”…Looks and acts like the “Facial Refining Scrub”. Large gritty particles that a fair in exfoliating the skin. There are better products Over the counter.

“Restorative Facial Treatment” … A light weight moisturizer with no SPF protection.

“Advanced Firming Eye Serum”…is an OK eye cream that absorbs well.

All factors put together, for the price, is not recommended. There is no SPF protection. One can find superior products such as Neutrogena, Avon’s Anew (over 60) skin care products., Mary Kay products and the list goes on and on. Advice: Save your money, by not purchasing this product line.

Don’t bother. Don’t waste your money. If it sounds too good to be true… if the product actually worked…well…we’d all be smooth and wrinkle free. It’s not possible. Don’t fall for the scam. Celebrities get PAID to promote the product. Live a healthy life…and age gracefully..

Watching the commercials entices women to purchase. I myself bought CR a while back and saw NO difference or change. I was disappointed. The jar is a small 4 oz which for me if I use everyplace I’d like to see this miraculous change of crepe skin (arms, legs, neck) I could use a jar in a week. Pricy! I do not believe the testimonies and if they look as great as most do I believe there’s other treatments they’ve done.
Another review stated “don’t spend hard earned money” on this product.

Beware! I got a sunburn on my forearms while using this product. It blistered (never had this happen before it was a minor sunburn) but when the sunburn faded, the blisters remained as a raised, blister-like texture on my arms. This was a year ago, and it still looks raised and weathered. Be aware.

Stop now all of you!! Paying so much money to keep from looking old!! I am 81 years young and nobody believes it.. My face has no sags nor wrinkles. What do I use for last 30 years……….Miracle Whip Salad Dressing!! Smooth it all over your face, wait a few minutes, start rolling your fingers gently over the face. You will see dead skin falling off on your lap (use a towel). No body never says, ‘dead cells is what makes us look old’. Do this twice a week for the first few times, then once every 10 days or so. You’ll know when it’s time. Be sure after you have finished rolling off your dead skin, wash your face as you usually do and moisturize as usual. You will be surprised how smooth your skin feels and looks.

Ehhhh….. lotion smells very good, like coppertone. I’m 66 and look pretty good, but no lotion is going to turn back time. I bought mine on eBay much cheaper. I laughed when the women in their 40’s and 50’s said it worked! If you’ve led a reasonably good life, your skin won’t give you much problem at that age, but I also fell for trying to look like Jane Seymour…..lol. She’s obviously taken better care of herself than I have.

Some user’s eyelid was burning, bleeding, others swollen. Stop falling prey for expensive toxic waste. And the doctor who promotes the product has had plastic surgery on his eyes.

I tried the “sample” of the useless Crepe erase product. Those so called celebrities ought to be ashamed of themselves. That is the most useless stuff I have ever tried. I’ve used body lotion from Dollar General that was better and then after I called and cancelled my “trial” they still sent me another shipment–which I refused– they keep sending me bills for it since I disputed it on my credit card. What an out and out scam!!!!!

I received the eye serum as a “free gift” when I succumbed to the infomercial. This morning I woke up, and it felt like someone had cut my eyelid. Upon closer inspection, my left eyelid looks like it has been severely burned and is bleeding in one spot and bubbling in another. I do have sensitive skin, so I followed the application directions very carefully. The first thing I did was read the ingredients on the Crepe Erase tube, and was alarmed to see there were none listed. That’s when I started my research. I am writing this review for the benefit of others. This is a dangerous product, and I truly hope my skin heals quickly.

I should have known they’d require me to call ‘customer service’ during ‘business hours’ to do so. Guess how long I waited on hold?! And surprise … the call was disconnected after 18 minutes.

I’m truly embarrassed to have been conned this way.

I am a plastic surgeon and have produced skin care since 1982.
The cleanser– weak at best exfoliator. Why combine weak amounts of Lactic acid (acid) and Sodium Hydroxide (base) in the same bottle. After they react, all you get is salt and water.

The “Repair” cream — just an occlusive moisturizer to reduce Trans-Epidermal Water Loss. Instead buy cocoa butter or shea butter products at the pharmacy or better yet consult with a skin care specialist who can optimize your treatment and stand behind the claims.

Remember the only thing worse than wasting your $, is wasting your time and losing the the opportunity to improve your condition.

I was going to purchase this product, but after reading all of the reviews, not only on this site, but on many others, forget it. If this was a good products and truly worked, this is what people would be posting. They would be saying it’s fantastic. I have a feeling that the few who said it was great, may never have used any product to help their aging skin before this. OR, they work for the company. I have only read 3 positive reviews out of the sites I visited about this product. They show a few celebrities on the commercial, but they have already had tons of cosmetic help without this stuff. I doubt they use it at all. I’m really thankful for people who have tried it and voiced their opinion. Sorry you all had to go through that horrible experience, but thankful you told us the truth. And the ingredients are more chemicals than good wholesome plant ingredients. I will never purchase this product. Thank you all for your studies and reviews.

I ordered an introductory package but was shipped a full package and charge $194.24 instead of the $39.95 which was ordered. When I called to complain, they informed me that I ordered a different package. Which is not true but I was so frustrated with their lack of communication, I took the hit. Then I was sent another package. I refused the order but was still charged for a partial shipment. When I called to speak with someone about the dishonest process used, Sarah informed me that it was my error, not theirs and they would not take back the product (past their 60 day warranty by this time) nor would they reimburse any of the payments made. This product is not impressive and their business practices are very dishonest.

Sounds like they are all about your $$$ and zero customer service. I appreciate the feedback. If you make frequent online purchases, consider signing up for a Citibank credit card for online purchases. CB has a virtual account number application that not only protects your real credit card online, but the virtual number expires the end of the following month. I have found this to be very helpful with trial period purchases because when the vendor tries to charge you for additional “auto shipments”, the card number used for your initial purchase has generally expired and the vendor will not ship the additional auto shipments if they cannot get it to go through on your credit card. This may not be helpful if they are charging you the very next month but after that it works if you forget to cancel.

I ordered and tried this product…….truthfully, skeptical the entire time. I am fair skinned, late 40’s, and have a concern with some chest wrinkles. I tried the product for about a week and have to say, IT WORKED FOR ME! I have been using this product for about 3 months now and honestly have to say it has really worked well on my chest/neck area and knees/elbow areas. I have not tried it on my face, as some people have said they did. It is a thick cream……not something I would apply to my face for fear I might break out. I don’t know what is in it but my chest wrinkles are almost gone, completely. My skin is baby soft and young looking. I am shocked at how well it works. I had pretty much tried everything with little to no results, store brands, etc. I would recommend trying it and seeing if it works for you, too.

I ordered ONE package because I was not sure if it would work but they charged me for TWO packages!! The phone reps don’t know the ingredients. When I asked to talk to someone that does, she said she was not allowed to transfer calls to her higher up bosses. We must join to expose this monsters. The ads show your face and they don’t care if it burns you as long as you pay them. We need to file a class action and report them and Fine the celebrities. Wary of the glowing infomercial, I got online to do my homework. Of course I ran into the usual staged reviews but kept reading. I’m grateful to have found your candid evaluation of this mystery product. I had looked for ingredients but found nothing substantial to explain the so described miracle results! I’m sad to say that the only reason I watched the whole commercial was because of Jane Seymour’s endorsement. I guess the reality is that money talks and Jane was listening. She is off my list of actresses that I admire and respect! Unfortunately many women watching TV don’t have access or just don’t use the Internet. They will probably find out through trial and error that; the only miracle in Crepe Erase is the fact that people actually spend their good money on a mystery potion!

I also saw the infomercial this morning on T.V. And was interested. I went online to check ingredients as I would do with any products I would consider using. I have allergies to makeup, scents and other ingredients such as shay butter, rice powder, etc. thanks for the research on ingredients for a Crepe Erase. I’m 70 and look pretty good for being older. Drink lots of water, exercize, and eat lots of fruit, veggies helps more than anything. Grow gracefully and love abundantly will do the trick!

Thank you for posting this! It’s the lactic acid. I am an esthetician and saw this infomercial and wanted to find out what ingredients they used to create such results. I’m not sure how effective it will be because lactic acid is pretty far down the list. You could most likely get the same/maybe better results with a lactic acid lotion they sell at the drugstore called amlactin. Because it is a strong exfoliator PLEASE make sure you’re using an SPF on the areas you treat with lactic acid lotions. Also check with your MD to see if you have a sensitivity to lactic acid. I have experienced great results with lactic acid lotions, but you certainly don’t need to pay $40 for one.

After watching their infomercial and realizing they did not talk about the ingredients at all, except to mention Coconut Oil here and there, I had to go and research what the ingredients were that are supposedly going to erase creepy skin. I could not believe a company would or *could* put out a product without revealing its ingredients – I would think it would be against the law. So digging around their website, I found them:

    Exfoliating Body Polish:
Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Acrylates Copolymer, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Cetyl Esters, Hydrated Silica, Peucedanum Graveolens (Dill) Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Wax (Cera), Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Butylene Glycol, Ursolic Acid, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Lactic Acid, Sodium PCA, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Chloride, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Benzoic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Fragrance (Parfum).

    Intensive Body Repair System:
Water (Aqua), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-6, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 60, Tocopheryl Acetate, BHT, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Extract, Peucedanum Graveolens (Dill) Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Maltooligosyl Glucoside, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Humic Acids, Ursolic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Ceteareth-20, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Fragrance (Parfum), *Citral, *Geraniol, *Hexyl Cinnamal, *Limonene, *Linalool.
    *EU Allergens

I am not an expert in ingredients at all, just a regular consumer, so maybe I’m missing something – but from my limited understanding, I don’t see anything special in either of these products, other than some moisturizers.

Without knowing the full ingredients of this cream, I am hesitant to use it. Many women have allergies to certain beauty products so nondisclosure of the ingredients puts customers at risk. I will not take a chance like that and will stick with natural ingredients that I’ve been using. Emergency rooms are expensive and I’m sure the makers of Crepe Erase won’t reimburse, should I end up there from using their product.
