What Are The Key AmorePacific Skincare Ingredients?

As we mentioned in the introduction, the key ingredient that AmorePacific uses throughout their line of skincare products is green tea. We’d like to start out by summarizing how the brand harvests their green tea leaves because the process is rather intricate. Instead of just handpicking the leaves, they gently pluck the leaves with the less dominant hand, at dawn, only 15 days of the year. In order to make the Vintage Single Extract Essence, the green tea leaves are naturally fermented for 50 days and then placed in traditional Korean ongis by tea masters in a special location of their garden where they age for another 50 days.

Now let’s move onto the benefits of green tea leaf extract. One of the most important components in green tea extract is the polyphenol epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). This polyphenol has been extensively studied for its health and beauty benefits. For example, a 2001 study in the journal Carcinogenesis found that topical application of EGCG to human skin resulted in decreased oxidative stress and an increase in antioxidant enzymes after UV irradiation. This is why green tea leaf extract can help improve the look of skin clarity, texture, and elasticity.

One disadvantage of AmorePacific skincare products is that most of them contain fragrance, and some formulations contain pretty high concentrations of fragrance ingredients.     I visited a dept store where the Amore Pacific representative used the MOISTURE BOUND Intensive Serum Masque. It fried my skin so badly that I had to see a dermatologist. I had red burns all over my face and had to use a steroid cream to calm my skin.

    I have been using Amore Pacific for about three years and I highly recommend the line. It is a bit pricey, but so concentrated that a very little goes a long way. I use the foaming cleanser and a tiny dab, smaller than a pea, cleanses my face, throat, neck, and even my chest and breasts! It bubbles so extravagantly I can’t bear to lose a single bit of the foam. It also smells heavenly, like all of the products. The moisturizer and eye cream leave my skin so silky I hate to put makeup on. Thanks to Amore Pacific, I don’t have to unless I’m just feeling fancy. My skin looks and feels fantastic. The products last a long time and are worth every penny.

    I have used the Amore Pacific line for four years and I’m really pleased with it! I have extremely sensitive skin; I frequently break out in rashes and discolor easily. Therefore, I’m very careful about the products I choose because I cannot use makeup to cover up imperfections. I use the time release line. At 43, most people think that I’m in my early thirties due to my perfect skin. This skin care line is more reasonably priced for me than others I have used in the past..La Prarie, Sisley and Revive. Elizabeth Arden and Estée Lauders lines were awful for me.

    I am considering using Amore Pacific skin care products.
    I always see it on Sephora and noticed the range gets high praise online.
    I didn’t realize the products were made in Korea but apparently they are very popular their.
    The price point is high and before I change what I am using now I would like to know how Amore Pacific compares with Elizabeth Arden Skin Care.

    Amorepacific Vintage Single Extract Essence is a fragrance-free concentration of green tea extract that is said to provide improvement in the appearance of skin clarity, texture and elasticity.
