- Serious Insta-Tox
But sometimes makeup just doesn’t cut it; foundation may hide discoloration and a good primer can blur the look of pores, but what about those deep lines and wrinkles?
Serious Skincare Insta Tox promises to be the solution to this dilemma. This “targeted age eraser” instantly fills deep lines and wrinkles, smooths over and blurs enlarged pores, and eliminates crows-feet and under-eye puffiness.
It may sound too good to be true, but there are quite a few Insta Tox reviews from customers swearing that this product really does work.
So does Insta Tox really instantly erase deep lines and wrinkles? To answer this question, we’ll have to evaluate the product formulations, including the key ingredients and the research that supports (or doesn’t support) their use in skin care.
We’ll also share some Insta Tox reviews so that you can get an idea of what customers really think of this product.
What’s Inside Serious Skin Care?
Serious Skin Care does not focus on using just one key ingredient throughout their product lines, but rather combines a variety of both natural and synthetic ingredients into their product formulations. In this section, we’ll discuss the key ingredients you can expect to find in the best selling Serious Skin Care products.
Vitamin C
We’ve been hearing for years that Vitamin C is the best anti-aging ingredient. It’s a potent antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals, the unstable molecules that contribute to the formation of premature wrinkles and fine lines on the skin.
Vitamin C also helps fade dark spots, evens out skin tone, and increases radiance. As if that wasn’t enough, research suggests that when vitamin C is applied to the skin, it significantly reverses aging-related structural changes by influencing collagen and elastin synthesis.
It’s in Serious Skin Care Serious-C3 Plasma C Clean Facial Cleanser.
While vitamin C can provide these benefits, it’s better to use this ingredient in a leave-on product, such as a vitamin C serum. Using a face wash with vitamin C doesn’t give this ingredient much time to work before you rinse it off.
But our favorite antioxidant serum is Carrot & Stick The Concentrate. It contains a multitude of plant and marine antioxidants to help defend against visible aging and free radical damage. Use it every morning.
Peptides
Serious Skin Care Reverse Lift Cream contains a high concentration of the anti-aging peptide acetyl hexapeptide-8, also known as Argireline. This six amino acid peptide is a fragment of SNAP-25 (a substrate of botulinum toxin).
It works by limiting the ability of neurotransmitters to activate movement in your facial muscles, for example, when forming facial expressions such as smiling or frowning. By inhibiting the nerves that cause facial muscles to contract, subtle facial expressions are limited and wrinkles are subsequently reduced.
We recommend Carrot & Stick The Repair Serum because it combines acetyl hexapeptide-8 with multiple amino acids proven to help fight fine lines and wrinkles, sustain natural collagen production, and firm the skin.
Retinol
Retinol is the go-to anti-aging ingredient recommended by dermatologists and skin experts. It’s clinically proven to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve uneven skin tone, restore skin firmness, and shrink the appearance of enlarged pores.
The only downside? Retinol can often lead to side effects like skin dryness, peeling, and irritation.
It’s in Serious Skincare Retinol Renewal Gel, alongside 9 different sources of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs).
Use retinoids at night. We recommend this retinoid oil serum. It contains Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, an ingredient that provides similar benefits with less irritation.
Everything Else
Parabens
Of note, many of the Serious Skin Care products contain parabens (for instance, the Serious Skin Care Reverse Lift Cream contains five different parabens), which many consumers are now trying to avoid.
Parabens have been linked to reproductive, immunological, neurological and skin irritation problems. Parabens penetrate the skin and hang around in our bodies. As preservatives, parabens keep the bacteria out of the products, but keep in mind there are clean alternatives.
We recommend products that are free from parabens, as well as sulfates, and formaldehyde. One brand is Carrot & Stick. We recommend Carrot & Stick The Moisturizer.

it does what it says, BUT, you can’t put on your moisturizer or foundation, it gone!!! Back to wrinkles & does leave a film that is a pain to deal with. At the end of the day, not worth it!
