Pharmaceutical-grade skin care products undergo much more rigorous testing than cosmetic products before they can be released, sometimes lasting up to 10 years and costing millions of dollars.

Pharmaceutical skin care products penetrate the layers of the skin to affect its structure and function.

GlyMed Plus products follow a four-step system to fight the effects of aging, acne, sun damage, pigmentation, rosacea, and other skin conditions. The four steps are cleanse, treat, balance, and protect. The first step of the GlyMed Plus system removes oil, dead skin cells, and environmental pollutants and debris, which can form dangerous free radicals in the skin. The treatment phase of the GlyMed system provides your skin with active ingredients proven to treat your specific condition.

The active ingredients used in GlyMed’s Balance products revive your skin’s ability to repair and renew naturally giving you a healthy, natural glow. Lastly, the application of protecting ingredients allows your skin to grow and build healthy cells while being shielded from pollutants, debris, and the sun’s harmful ultraviolet light rays.

The top 5 GlyMed Plus skincare products

GlyMed Plus offers more than 100 products, divided into 5 sub-lines: Age Management, Master Aesthetics Elite, Cell Science, Serious Action, and For Men. In addition, GlyMed Plus has a line of mineral makeups. Unlike traditional makeup, GlyMed Plus mineral makeup has been designed to camouflage skin conditions without irritating or aggravating these conditions. It also protects skin from UV rays and provides antioxidant-rich nutrients to promote healthy skin. Out of all the GlyMed Plus products, a few of the most popular include Ultra Hydro Gel, Oxygen Treatment Cream, Wrinkle Remedy, AHA Accelerator, and Gentle Face Wash.

GlyMed Plus Ultra Hydro Gel
The GlyMed Plus Ultra Hydro Gel is an ultra-light natural hyaluronic acid formula. Hyaluronic acid is a type of glycosaminoglycan (sugar molecule) that attracts moisture from the environment and draws that moisture into the skin’s upper layers. In fact, hyaluronic acid has the ability to attract and hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. By improving the skin’s moisture retention, hyaluronic acid provides a hydrated, plumped up complexion. The GlyMed Plus Ultra Hydro Gel also contains cyclomethicone and dimethicone crosspolymer, which impart a smooth texture and consistency without blocking pores.

GlyMed Plus Oxygen Treatment Cream
The Oxygen Treatment Cream is an oxygen-rich cream that is said to improve cell turnover, help reduce wrinkles, and leave skin soft, fresh, and luminous. One of the key ingredients in this treatment cream is Majus (Nasturtium) flower/leaf/stem extract, which promotes the oxygenation of skin cells and improves the skin’s surface condition, giving it a healthy glow. Hydrolyzed Candida Saitoana extract provides skin cell detoxification and longevity, as well as decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Another key ingredient is tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, a stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C that works as an MMP inhibitor, antioxidant, lightener, and brightener. Finally, grapefruit peel oil in the Oxygen Treatment Cream functions as a skin-conditioning agent that reduces existing comedones.

GlyMed Plus Wrinkle Remedy
GlyMed Plus Wrinkle Remedy is a wrinkle treatment solution that features Advanced Drone Technology. This ingredient has been proven to reverse signs of aging in fibroblasts, help skin cells maintain the capacity to build new tissues, and provide an anti-wrinkle effect on crow’s feet. GlyMed Plus Wrinkle Remedy includes several more beneficial ingredients, such as green tea, glycolic acid, and vitamin E.

GlyMed Plus AHA Accelerator
The GlyMed Plus AHA Accelerator is an anti-aging serum that is said to minimize pores, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, increase firmness and elasticity, and reduce uneven texture. The serum contains a 20% blend of glycolic and lactic acid, which are both alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). AHAs exfoliate the skin by targeting corneocytes (dead skin cells that make up the stratum corneum) in a process called corneocyte desquamation. By enhancing their breakdown and increasing the separation of skin cells, the rate of cell turnover is increased, leading to smoother, more radiant skin. The combination of these two AHAs not only exfoliate but work synergistically to retain hydration.

GlyMed Plus Gentle Face Wash
The brand’s number one cleanser is the GlyMed Plus Gentle Face Wash. This face wash is said to minimize pores, reduce pigmentation, purify and deep clean the skin. The formulation is pretty simple; it combines an AHA (glycolic acid) with surfactants (ammonium lauryl sulfate and cocamidopropyl betaine). Glycolic acid will help to exfoliate the skin while the surfactants help to wash away impurities.

GlyMed Plus skincare ingredients

According to the brand’s website, the key ingredients used in the GlyMed Plus products are Advanced Drone Technology and fulvic acid.

Advanced Drone Technology is a delivery system using encapsulated peptides to directly treat targeted skin cells. It is said to reverse, repair, and prevent future damage at the cellular level. Specifically, the Advanced Drone Technology targets skin neurons to stimulate botox-like effects, minimizing the communication channels for muscle contractions. It also stimulates glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) to maintain and support the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Ultimately, this helps to smooth and soften expression lines while also improving firmness and tightening skin.

Fulvic acids are a family of organic acids, natural compounds, and components of the humus (which is a fraction of soil organic matter). It contains a variety of beneficial nutrients including fatty acids, ketones, flavonoids, and vitamins. Fulvic acid is a powerful antioxidant and can protect the skin from free radicals, the unstable molecules that contribute to the formation of premature wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. Fulvic acid also has antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is easily absorbed into the deep layers of skin, where it actively transports nutrients to deep tissues, leading to balanced hydration, wrinkle reduction, and reduced inflammation. The fulvic acid in GlyMed Plus products has the ability to target the most challenging conditions such as aging skin, allergies, irritations, and acne while stimulating healing to restore a younger looking, more radiant skin.

Glymed Plus products are not sold to anyone but licensed skin care professionals and all other sites selling glymed are not authorized to sell it and are getting the product through a black market or other unauthorized manor. Which means you may not even be getting a quality product as it may be old, tampered with, or counterfeit product. They have already come out and stated that none of these retailers are authorized to sell their products and that they only sell to skin care professionals.

    Glymed Face Wash Review

Glymed Plus Gentle Face Wash is a 10% glycolic acid cleanser that is said to “jumpstart” skin cells, promoting the desquamation process and enhancing the penetration of treatment products. It is also said to provide anti-aging and exfoliation benefits, and is gentle enough to use on even the most sensitive skin. Glycolic acid is a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that exfoliates the skin by targeting corneocytes (dead skin cells that make up the stratum corneum) in a process called corneocyte desquamation. By enhancing their breakdown and increasing the separation of skin cells, the rate of cell turnover is increased, leading to smoother, more radiant skin. Glymed Plus Gentle Face Wash also contains two surfactants: ammonium lauryl sulfate and cocamidopropyl betaine. A surfactant molecule contains one end that is hydrophilic (attracted to water) and one end that is lipophilic (attracted to oil). This allows surfactants to attract and suspends oils, dirt, and other impurities that have accumulated on the skin and wash them away. Even though cocamidopropyl betaine is derived from a natural source (coconut oil), this ingredient has been associated with irritation and allergic contact dermatitis. These reactions could be due to the ingredient itself or to impurities present in it. A final key ingredient in Glymed Plus Gentle Face Wash is glycerin, a humectant that draws moisture into the upper layers of skin to improve skin hydration.
