The brand offers many clinically proven, patent-pending formulations that target a number of overlooked yet common skin concerns. All of the formulations are based on Dr. Kunin’s skin care philosophy that nature and medicine can work synergistically.
What are the best Dermadoctor products?
Dermadoctor currently offers nearly 80 products in all different categories to treat pretty much every skin condition you can think of, including acne, dark circles, discoloration, dry skin, eczema, enlarged pores, hyperhidrosis, keratosis pilaris, oily skin, rosacea, sensitive skin, wrinkling, and more. Since there are way too many Dermadoctor products to cover in this review, we’ll be discussing three of the best selling Dermadoctor products: KP Duty Body Scrub, Kakadu C Eye Souffle, and the DD Cream.
Dermadoctor KP Duty Body Scrub is a dual action exfoliator that combines the benefits of a chemical peel and microdermabrasion into a single, easy to use formulation. It functions as both a physical and chemical exfoliant. Physical exfoliation utilizes an abrasive substance to scrub away dead skin cells through motion. Chemical exfoliation utilizes chemical agents to break up dead skin cells, allowing them to be washed away more easily. Dermadoctor KP Duty Body Scrub is said to help your skin look and feel smooth and silky, and also helps prepare skin for self-tanning and post-bathing treatments.
Dermadoctor Kakadu C Eye Souffle is a brightening eye cream that is said to hydrate, smooth, and firm the delicate skin around the eyes for a more ageless appearance. The “kakadu” in the name of this eye cream refers to kakadu plum extract, which is the richest vitamin C source of any fruit. We’ll discuss more of the benefits of vitamin C in the next section.
Dermadoctor DD Cream is said to provide five key benefits: defines, delays, defends, delights, and delivers. This multifunctional corrective anti-aging beauty balm helps support a healthy complexion. It also contains a mineral based SPF 30 to protect skin from harmful UV rays.
What are the key Dermadoctor ingredients?
As you could probably gather from the product descriptions in the previous section, there isn’t one key ingredient used throughout the Dermadoctor collection. Rather, each product contains a variety of unique ingredients. Below we’ll cover the benefits you can expect to see from the key ingredients in the best selling Dermadoctor products mentioned above.
Inside the Dermadoctor KP Duty Body Scrub formula you’ll find cellulose acetate, which is plant based scrub particles that help to remove dead cells from the surface of skin. This scrub also contains two alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), glycolic and lactic acid, which function as chemical exfoliants. Additional key ingredients in the Dermadoctor KP Duty Body Scrub formula include willow bark extract to enhance exfoliation, azelaic acid to soothe the hair follicle, and green tea extract to help calm and soothe red, irritated skin.
As mentioned above, Dermadoctor Kakadu C Eye Souffle features kakadu plum extract as a key ingredient. This superfruit contains up to 100 times the pure vitamin C content of an orange. Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that can protect the skin from free radicals, stimulate collagen production, and decrease the appearance of dark spots through inhibition of the enzyme tyrosinase. Like most eye creams, Dermadoctor Kakadu C Eye Souffle includes caffeine due to the ability of caffeine to reduce swelling and possibly minimize the appearance of dark circles.
Dermadoctor DD Cream includes two physical sunscreen ingredients: titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Physical sunscreens, also called mineral sunscreens, protect your skin by using physical UV filters to block or deflect UV light. The combination of these two ingredients provides broad spectrum SPF 30 protection. The rest of the formula is mostly comprised of emollients and humectants.

I have been shopping on Dermadoctor for several years now. I recently started using Dermadoctor Wrinkle Revenge and It is creamy and perfect for dry mature skin. I have to admit this is a good product for dry skin. Usually the product does not hydrate my skin enough. I have also purchased other brands from Dermadoctor and very happy with the service I have received from them. The products are very nicely packaged and the customer service is awesome.
