The Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus eye cream is called the Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream. It is a rich eye cream that is claimed to diminish the look of fine lines. It is also said to plump and moisturize the skin, leaving eyes looking younger and more radiant. This eye cream can be used both morning and night.
Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Smooths, Restores, Corrects is an anti-aging serum that is claimed to smooth skin’s texture and help plump skin so expression lines are visibly reduced. This serum can be used both morning and night.
The day cream in the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus collection is called Line Smoothing Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15. This cream is claimed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while also protecting the skin against the sun’s UVA and UVB rays.
Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Night Line Smoothing Cream is a nighttime moisturizer that is claimed to help visibly reduce lines and wrinkles, restoring skin’s youthful look. It is said to work by intensifying the nightly cycle of natural repair.
What are the key ingredients in the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus collection?
All of the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus products are claimed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In order to determine if these products hold up to their claims, we must take a look at the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus ingredients.
Caffeine is used as a key ingredient in all four Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus products. Caffeine is a beneficial skin care ingredient because of its antioxidant and stimulant properties. As an antioxidant, caffeine helps the skin to combat free radicals, the unstable molecules that contribute to the formation of premature wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. As a natural stimulant, caffeine causes vasoconstriction (constriction of the blood vessels) when applied to the skin. This function aids in reducing the amount of blood that accumulates under the eyes (a major factor that contributes to dark circles). Additionally, vasoconstriction can firm the skin due to the removal of excess fluids and possible stimulation of the lymphatic drainage system.
Another key ingredient in the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus collection is acetyl hexapeptide-8, also known as Argireline. This six amino acid peptide is a fragment of SNAP-25 (a substrate of botulinum toxin). It works by limiting the ability of neurotransmitters to activate movement in your facial muscles, for example, when forming facial expressions such as smiling or frowning. By inhibiting the nerves that cause facial muscles to contract, subtle facial expressions are limited and wrinkles are subsequently reduced.
Except for the day cream, all of the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus products contain high concentrations of silicones, such as dimethicone, methyl trimethicone, polysilicone-11, and more. Silicones improve the spreadability of a product and also impart a silky smooth skin feel. In addition, silicones function as film-forming agents by forming an invisible film on the surface of the skin that helps the skin to retain moisture.
Lastly, all four Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus products contain Sigesbeckia orientalis (St. Paul’s Wort) extract. St. Paul’s wort extract functions as a skin-conditioning agent and also has anti-inflammatory properties. Unfortunately, there is very little research showing that St. Paul’s wort extract has any benefit for skin.
ALTERNATIVE: If you are concerned about aging skin and looking for professional grade products that are also clean, Carrot & Stick The Repair Serum. It contains a peptide complex to target multiple signs of aging.
Where is Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus sold?
Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus and other Clinique skin care products are sold on the brand’s website, as well as third party ecommerce websites such as Amazon, Ebay, Sephora, Ulta, and more. Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus is also sold at physical retail locations, such as the Clinique counter at department stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom.
What is the Clinique return policy?
The Clinique return policy states, “If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Clinique Online you may return the unused portion for refund or exchange. We accept returns for products purchased from clinique.com only.”
Is Clinique cruelty free?
Clinique is not cruelty free. Clinique is owned by Estée Lauder, a company that tests on animals. While Estée Lauder does not conduct animal testing on their products or ingredients, they do test on animals when required to do so by law (such as in China). Despite this, Estée Lauder is committed to abolishing animal testing. In fact, Estée Lauder was one of the first beauty companies to prove that safety can be validated by means other than animal testing. For example, Estée Lauder has a strong partnership with the Institute for In Vitro Sciences (IIVS), a non-profit research and testing consortium dedicated to the advancement of in vitro (non-animal) methods worldwide.

Unfortunately the Clinique gift pack I received as a Xmas present was a huge disappointment. The package containedRepair laser focus ,repair laser focus night, and repair laser focus. After trying all of these products I realised my eyes started streaming and came to the conclusion I am allergic to these products. I have been using Clinique products, moisturising cleansing for years and find this laser focus product does not agree with my skin. A huge disappointment and clearly Icannot return this product. I expect it was costly for my friend who purchased it. I won’t be recommending this product to anyone.
