CHANEL Sublimage

There are very brands that are as Iconic as Chanel. Known original for their incredible fashion, the brand has opened up in the past decades to include skincare, makeup, fragrance and body care products, all of which evoke the same luxury that their fashion house was founded on. Today, their sublimage range continues to be one of their most popular skincare ranges, which focuses on radiance and hydration. We’re going to be diving into the range, discussing their formulas as well as their skin care philosophy, so that you can decide for yourself whether this product is worth the investment. So without further adieu, let’s get started!

What are the Best Skin Care Products of 2022?

Is Chanel Skincare Worth The Money?

A common question about this brand is if the products are worth the cost. Chanel Le Lift Skincare products are expensive, for example, the LE LIFT PRO CONCENTRÉ CONTOURS is $205.

In our opinion, Chanel Le Lift Skincare products aren’t worth the money, simply because there are other skincare brands that offer similar products that are less expensive.

One brand is Carrot & Stick, a clean skincare brand that perfectly balances the gentle nurturing of plants with the powerful results of innovative science.

Carrot & Stick intro bundles deliver great value for money because you can bundle 3 full-size products worth up to $240 for $88.

Who is the Chanel Sublimage Range For?

The Chanel Sublimage range was designed to suit all skin types, but the majority of their focus has been placed on restoring and revitalizing the skin. Because of this, the range as a whole will benefit those with anti-aging skin concerns, as well as those with mature or dry skin types, best.

Chanel Sublimage

Chanel Sublimage is a range of luxury anti-aging skincare products that includes everything from mists to serums and creams, in order to create a rich and nourishing skin care routine. The most popular and well known products from the line include the L’extrait De Crême, the La Brume and of course, the original La Creme.

Starting off with L’extrait De Creme, this is their most intensely concentrated formula, that was designed specifically for those with extra dry, mature skin. As their most luxurious moisturizer in the entire range, this product was designed to revitalize, regenerate, restore and protect the skin in a short period of time. During clinical evaluations, the L’extrait De Creme was tested to see how this cream helped with dryness, dullness and uneven skin tone. After four weeks of use 41 women saw that their skin was 125% more nourished, 50% more radiance, 60% plumper and 52% smoother than it had been previously.

Moving on to their La Brume, this revitalizing mist was designed to hydrate the skin throughout the day. During clinical evaluation, it was found that radiance increased by 49% in the 34 women who were tested over four weeks.

Finally, we have their original La Creme, which today, is available in a number of different types and variations. This product was designed to serve as a rich, soothing cream that also possesses anti-aging properties. Since it’s release, the original Sublimage La Creme has gone through two rounds of clinical evaluations. Through these trials, skin looked 52% more radiant and 36% more firm. Additionally, dark spots appeared to be diminished by 32% during the first clinical evaluation.

Formula Focus

Unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to find the exact formula and ingredients list for these products, or any products from the Sublimage line from Chanel. Chanel does not release their ingredients list for their Sublimage products on their website, and it is also not available on their stockists websites. Because of this, the only way to know exactly what’s in this formula is to look through the label after purchasing one of these products. This can make it incredibly difficult for those with reactive skin or those who have a history of ingredient-based sensitivities, so we do recommend that you patch test these products before incorporating them into your regular skincare routine.

With that said, what is available is their key ingredients, as well as a bit about some of their more unique technologies that are used in this line. For example, looking at the Sublimage La Creme, the brand highlights their unique Vanilla Planifolia, which is found in Madagascar. The plant is only harvested at its peak, when the regenerative properties of the fruits are their most potent. The fruits are harvested by hand, and then undergo the process of chrono-extraction, which is unique to Chanel products. The end result is an ingredient called Ephemeres of Planifolia. Along with Enriched Planifolia PFA, this combination helps to renew the skin while also firming and evening out skin tone.

How To Use Chanel Sublimage

Depending on the product you’re using, the application will vary. That being said, most of the products in this line are designed to hydrate and moisturize while providing anti-aging benefits, so we recommend organizing your skincare routine starting from the lightest weight product, like the Chanel La Brume Mist and working up towards the richer, most moisturizing creams.

Review Recap

Currently, the Chanel Sublimage range is available through a number of retailers, including Nordstrom, as well as on their own website. I’ve been using Chanel sublimage L Creme, moisturizer, eyes and the Fondamentale for approximately six months. I really don’t see any difference in my skin and purchased the products because of the name, and thinking more is better.$$$$$. I am not unhappy with the product, but I’m really not seeing any difference from the products I was using prior prior to the Chanel. I would give it an overall rating of a 3+

I have been using sublimage product for a while. Recently, I’m breaking out with small red blotches that refuse to heal.
I think it is connected to the product.
    Please, advise!

I have been using the Chanel Sublimage eye cream and moisturizer for about a month now and my skin looks so good and has improved so much using this product. I have received so many compliments about my skin and makeup. I have sensitive skin and this product did not irritate my skin at all. I will never change this product as I absolutely love it!
