Eyelashes can become thin and sparse over the years due to a number of factors, such as hormonal changes, medical conditions, and habits like excessive rubbing.
While mascara can help create the look of longer, darker lashes, we understand there’s days when you just don’t feel like putting on makeup. If that sounds like you, an eyelash serum is an option to help regrow your lashes.
Dime Eyelash Serum is formulated to improve length, density, quantity, and strength of hair as well as overall follicle health. The result? Longer, thicker, healthier eyelashes.
But is Dime Eyelash Serum right for you? To help you decide, we’ll give you all the details on the key ingredients in this formula, as well as the research that supports (or doesn’t support) their use in skin care. We’ll also share some Dime Eyelash Serum reviews so that you can get an idea of what customers really think of this product.

What Are The Key Ingredients in Dime Eyelash Serum?
In order to determine how well Dime Eyelash Serum performs, we’ll have to evaluate the key ingredients in this formula. Let’s get started.
Amino Acids
Amino acids are used in Dime Eyelash Serum, but what’s confusing is that the brand doesn’t list the specific amino acids that are used in the formula. There are 20 different amino acids that make up proteins in the human body, so it would be nice to know which amino acids are used in Dime Eyelash Serum.
For instance, keratin is a protein found in the skin, nails, and hair (including eyelashes), and keratin is particularly rich in the amino acid cysteine. But is cysteine used in Dime Eyelash Serum? We think it should be, but it’s unclear since the brand doesn’t disclose which amino acids are used in the formula.
Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1
Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 is a peptide that promotes hair bulb keratinocyte proliferation and ensures optimal hair anchorage by stimulating the synthesis and organization of the adhesion molecules laminin 5 and collagen IV.
In simpler terms, this means Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 may help to promote stronger eyelashes that stay in place longer. However, these claims are based on in-vitro (test tube) studies by the manufacturer, so it’s unclear if these same results will occur in humans.
Myristoyl Pentapeptide-4
This is another peptide in the Dime Eyelash Serum, although we weren’t able to find much information on this ingredient. According to the brand, myristoyl pentapeptide-4 has been shown to improve keratin production which is a vital part of hair strength and health.
Once again, this sounds good in theory, but we’d like to see more research that proves what the brand claims this ingredient can do for eyelashes.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide is one of our favorite skin care ingredients because it’s a potent antioxidant that provides many benefits to the skin. Unfortunately, these same effects don’t seem to apply to eyelashes.
According to a 2020 publication in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science, topical niacinamide does not stimulate hair growth based on the existing body of evidence. So while the inclusion of niacinamide in Dime Eyelash Serum will not harm your hashes, it also won’t help them grow.
Humectants
Dime Eyelash Serum also contains high concentrations of several humectants, including glycerin, amino acids, panthenol, and aloe vera. Humectants bind moisture, which hydrates and plumps the look of eyelashes.
How to Use Dime Eyelash Serum?
Apply Dime Eyelash Serum nightly to the base of the upper and lower eyelashes. Continue using it to aid the condition and appearance of your lashes. Apply every other day if a mild tingling sensation occurs.
Where to Buy Dime Eyelash Serum?
Dime Eyelash Serum and other Dime Beauty skin care products are sold on the brand’s website (dimebeautyco.com), as well as a few third party online retailers, such as safeandchic.com and walmart.com.
How Much is Dime Eyelash Serum?
Dime Eyelash Serum costs $44 USD for one 6 mL tube on the brand’s website. If you subscribe to receive Dime Eyelash Serum at a set interval (30, 45, 60, 75, or 90 days), you can receive a 15% discount.
Is Dime Beauty Cruelty Free?
Yes, Dime Beauty is cruelty free.
Is Dime Eyelash Serum Vegan?
Yes, Dime Eyelash Serum is vegan.
