Tresor Rare Review

SKIN CARE REVIEWS

12.19.22DISCLAIMER

On the opposite end of the drugstore brand basics, there’s premiere luxury brands like Tresor Rare. Inspired by the properties of refined gemstones, Tresor Rare offers some of the most premium skincare and perfume available. While the brand originally started as a perfumery, they’ve expanded considerably and now have several different skincare lines to choose from, depending on your skin concerns. But is it worth the hefty price tag? In order to let you know if these products are worth the investment, we’re taking a look at the brand, some of their best selling products, key ingredients, and more in this Tresor Rare review.

The story behind Tresor Rare

Started in 1979, Tresor Rare began as a luxury perfume house. Their curated collection of fragrances aim to inspire women with confidence and to lead with sophistication. The formula combines notes from around the world to create complex, yet sweet fragrances that compliment and mix with your body chemistry. Several years ago, the brand branched out into skincare, creating a line of anti-aging products that harness the properties of rare and precious gemstones.

What are the best selling Tresor Rare products?

Tresor Rare offers several different skincare lines all inspired by unique gemstones including pearl, sapphire, black diamonds, and gold. They’ve become holy grail products to celebrities as well, from Bella Hadid to brand ambassador Mariah Carey. Of all their lines, the best selling Tresor Rare products originate from the Blue Sapphire collection. The range includes seven products, all geared towards those with mature skin that are looking for the most luxurious anti-aging ingredients on the market.

Tresor Rare Eye Zone Concentrate
Starting off with the Tresor Rare Eye Zone Concentrate, this serum uses a time release formula to target the eye area specifically. Like most eye treatments, this formulation aims to decrease fine lines, puffiness, dark circles and sagging lids. While they do state that the blue sapphire range includes refined blue sapphire, diamond powder, liposomes and phospholipids, Tresor Rare does not release their ingredient list online, making it impossible to know for sure what ingredients are included and their concentrations. With that said, if you have sensitive skin or known allergies to certain skincare ingredients, please proceed with caution.

Blue Sapphire Age Defying Eye Zone Treatment
Within this same blue sapphire range is another best selling Tresor Rare product called Age Defying Eye Zone Treatment. This rich yet lightweight cream is designed to help brighten up your eye area, reduce any morning puffiness, and diminish dark circles. The idea behind this product is to boost the appearance of your under eye area instantly, while continuous usage works to gradually improve the area as well. Again, the official list of ingredients has not been released, but the website does claim that this formula includes a rare blend of ingredients that are suited for smoothing and lifting the under eye area.

Tresor Rare Ultimate Pearl Facial Peel
One best selling Tresor Rare product from the Ultimate Pearl collection is the Ultimate Pearl Facial Peel. This gel formula was created to brighten, cleanse, and detoxify the skin in order to reveal a healthier complexion. Without knowing the ingredients in this facial peel, we cannot say whether or not these claims hold true.

What are the key Tresor Rare ingredients?

As mentioned above, the key Tresor Rare ingredients are gemstone powders. These include diamond powder, pearl powder, blue sapphire powder, and more. But what can these ingredients actually add to our skincare routine?

Diamond Powder
This is as lux as it gets. Diamond powder for skincare is a rather new ingredient that has been gaining popularity over the last few years. The main benefit of using diamond powder on your skin is exfoliation. Since diamond is a very hard stone, you’ll be able to polish away dead skin cells. However, diamond powder may be too abrasive for the skin, which could lead to irritation. Alongside the exfoliation benefits, diamond powder is also an impressive skin brightener, and due to its light reflecting properties, acts as a blurring filter to conceal enlarged pores and discoloration.

Pearl Powder
Similar to diamond powder, pearl powder also acts as a brightening and exfoliating agent. In addition, scientific studies have determined that pearl powder can stimulate the skin’s fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are cells in the connective tissue which produces collagen and other fibers. By stimulating fibroblasts, pearl powder can increase collagen production in the skin. Collagen is a structural protein that gives skin strength, durability, and firmness. It also plays an important role in wound healing. Thus, topical application of pearl powder can promote firmer, more youthful-looking skin, as well as speed up healing of wounds, burns, rashes, and other skin conditions.

Blue Sapphire Powder
Out of all the gemstone powders we’ve discussed, blue sapphire powder has the least amount of information on its usage in skincare. Like the diamond and pearl powders, it’s believed to give the skin a glow, as well as aid in removing dead skin cells and protecting against harmful environmental factors.

Where are Tresor Rare products sold?

Tresor Rare products are sold on the brand’s website and in several brick-and-mortar stores around the world. Tresor Rare doesn’t allow reselling of its products on Amazon and eBay, which means that any Tresor Rare products available on these third party websites are unauthorized resellers. Like many premium goods, Tresor Rare products are being duplicated and sold at drastically reduced prices and diminished quality. These products are not Tresor Rare products and are not covered under Tresor Rare warranty. The brand has been getting many complaints in regards to fake and expired goods being sold on the above mentioned platforms, which is why they highly advise not to purchase any items outside of the official Tresor Rare stores and authorized retailers.

What is the Tresor Rare return policy?

The Tresor Rare return policy states, “Tresor-Rare.com offers refunds on unopened products within 14 days. Physical locations are independently owned and operated as a separate entity from the brand’s website. Most of the locations are all final sale. Please refer to the original purchase receipt for contact details and exact store policies.”

Is Tresor Rare cruelty free?

Tresor Rare is cruelty free.

Tresor Rare reviews

Depending on where you look for Tresor Rare reviews, the results can vary quite a bit. On. The Derm Review, rankings have been negative. For example, one person wrote: “

Got pulled into the store at Lynnhaven Mall today. Red flags from the moment the girl dropped a $200 price tag on me for a face peel product. As soon as I hesitated she was willing to drop the price to $75. She kept pressing and that’s when I knew it was time to go. Glad I walked away.”

Has anyone tried to work with their credit card companies to revoke the sales? I’m going to call the Better Business Bureau as well as the city of Beverly Hills where my scam happened.

    Scam.
I was lured and manipulateed to purchased from Tresor Rare booth on March 8, 2021 at 9000 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431. I was charged on 3 different transactions a total of $3,317 for products I don’t need. I received a free facial and a demonstration on the Skincare products, the men later sold me. I was told he was the owner Jordan from Israel. This company uses tactics to trick and manipulate customers into buying products they don’t need. I would like my full refund credited back to me. I have contacted Jordan the person how sold me the products 786-710-1804. I was told that someone would call me back but no one did. I would like my money back.

I think i’m in love with these products, i had a great time in the CA store was happy to get pampered and got home feeling absolutely great. prices aren’t cheap, but from my experience its worth every dollar spent. my skin looks better and ill rather have a salesperson who’s alive (even though we was a bit too eager for the sell ) than these tight… macys sales people, i love these independent stores, enough for me buying in macys – they don’t know a thing in skin care.

The same thing happened to me. I was on vacation in Phoenix, AZ. They stat engaging you in conversation, lure you in and then start putting product on your hand and then your face. $400!!! What!!!!

I agree with your statement!! Plus I tried to call customer service. Could never get through to anyone. Tried emailing. Got all way through process only to get a message saying my email wasn’t valid! Really

They ripped me off in Gatlinburg Tn. where they lured me into their shop while on vacation. They prey on older women and especially tourist spots. They use extreme aggressive pressure sales tactics to sell their products. They are manipulative, dishonest, and will say or do anything to get your money. They don’t tell you until after they get your money that there are no refunds. You have no recourse after that. Nobody wants to help you. They told me they were medical grade products, and showed me a jar they were supposedly using that said that. What they sold me did not say that. It is a real scam. Nobody pays the same price. I would suggest to run if they approach you. I hope this helps someone else to avoid the nightmare I have been through.

Not worth the price!! Unless you have money to throw away. Gave me the same results as coconut oil. I have the Relaxor Cream and the Thermal Mask as gifts then I did my research and saw the price!! My jaw dropped. No way!! Not worth $5. I saw nothing different in my skin. It felt nice after a mask, but it does when I use something at 5% of the price. Same difference. So perplexed as to the value.

Terrible customer service. I tried to return $300 with of product within less than 48 hours. They claimed it was a ‘promotion’ and couldn’t refund my money . ‘Someone’ would call me. I had buyers remorse after I bought the product, and couldn’t get back there fast enough.

I just purchased the eye serum, that comes in a black syringe and the moisturizer that comes in the blue bottle. I was a little sneaky about it initially as the price tag for them is steep. I was in Hawaii on vacation and there was a shop pulling people in for a free “treatment” so I got one and went back for a few days to test it out before finally buying them. The shop ladies and gentlemen were very sweet and accommodating with my little experiment as I explained I have sensitive skin and wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to react badly to it.
The serum is interesting as it has n almost instant tightening effect you can feel working and a bit of color to it, so it will wipe off a bit if you wash your face too soon after its applied. One is supposed to use it once a week but I cheated and went back 3 separate times! My eye area did look much improved after the first application and I was pleased with the result.
What sold me the most was the moisturizer, it’s very light soaks in and doesn’t leave any residue, it also seemed to help my dry itchy under eye problem. For a whole week I was not tempted to rub my eyes at all except to get the sleep sand out in the morning!
I will endorse this moisturizer as it has worked for me, so far but as with any product ,one must make that determination for ones self.

Feel really foolish that I was duped into spending £700 on this product. It’s a waste of money and Does not work I’ve emailed customer service twice and still no reply. Please take my advice and don’t buy this product. It’s a scam and I’m gutted.

I was accosted in Honolulu and got pressured into purchas s these products along with the wand and was told all the information on how to use their products were on their web, this is not the case. Plus they don’t show what ingredients they use for each product. So for anyone who loves this product and would like the full range at half what I paid I’m interested in hearing from you.

I think to be saying something fair to the products, indeed they are amazing products, they really work on my skin, my skin does see improvement, yes, the prices are high, very high, but whoever created or invented these products, they are working brilliantly behind the science, I do enjoying them, but I wish they could be a bit less pricey , but they work, so, more likely I will continue use the products.

Yesterday in the Mall of Georgia I purchased the ultimate pearl mask and moisturizer, spent wayyyy to much money on. 20 minutes later I walk back into the store to return them because I knew that I shouldn’t have spent that much money. They then proceeded to tell me that “NO REFUNDS”. When I walked in no one said anything about this and there was NO sign!!!! Very disappointed. So unhelpful. They are players and scammers.

i Bought the products in Maui. I didn’t like the high pressure sales tactic, but the price for the daily and weekly routine o found fairly normal. The monthly I am not yet sure.

I do enjoy the daily and weekly… the cleanser, toner and moisturizer. If I use regularly, I use less moisturizer over time.. which tells me it works… but, like any products, must continue use. I did not stop my other treatments yet… so will see over time if I need to. I did nothing before… so I like it.

I was lured into the store yesterday in Lexington, KY. The in store demo was amazing. I purchased the product, and am having it shipped to me because I was getting on a flight. I hope after reading some of these reviews that the product continues to work. I never spend any money on myself and hope it will be worth it.

Same happened to me yesterday (Atlanta USA)… Their Sales people have a real tactic to get you into the store, sell and then no return.
I wish Customers would be better protected from these kind of companies.
Plus, since there was no way back, I tried the product and it didn‘t work. I got the face peeling, which I couldn‘t rub off as per instructions. When I started to panic, I tried to wash this gel off – I had to wash my face 2x! Now it is read and I‘m worried to see my face tomorrow. I hope I don‘t break out.

I purchased eye lift. I swear the product they use in the store to sample is has a different ingredient from what I bought. In the store, I could visibly see the serum lift the bags from my eyes and feel it tightening my skin. But the product I am using at home does not do that. It just feels like any other product. Very disappointed especially for the cost!

I hesitate to call the lovely young ladies that tried to drag me into this shop “shills”, but I have only once previously experienced this kind of aggressive sales techniques. On that occasion, I foolishly allowed myself to be lured in to the tune of hundreds of dollars. DO NOT BE POLITE TO THESE LADIES. REFUSE THEIR FREE SAMPLE OF HANDCREAM. RUN, NOT WALK, AWAY. Before I walked on this time, they managed to anoint me with one of their products. It did immediately improve the appearance of puffiness under one eye and the effects were still noticeable several hours later, however, it felt as if is were drawing up my under-eye skin, which raised some alarms. I tried to investigate this product, but it has no ingredient list. The free hand cream sample has an ingredient list with chemicals that concern me (silicone precursors), so I suspect the eye concentrate does as well. I suggest you avoid these products.

I was walking down the sidewalk and lured into the store and subjected to high pressure sales tactics.. I also left the store after they emptied my bank account, and ran my credit card to its limit. When I came back to reality, I returned the products unopened, I was told that they have a no refund policy.. They told me to look at my receipt and at the bottom in small print, no returns. I said, You never mentioned this. He lied and said that he did tell me there was no refund. I was badgered, humiliated, put on a guilt trip, and even told I was bull s*** when I asked the manager for a refund. Run from this company. Something is terribly wrong with this kind of customer “service.”

Your review as far as skin care benefits really said a lot of nothing. I had bought these products…to me….it’s a huge hoax…These people are a slimy as timeshare sellers in mexico!! You are the dermatologists review…..your review of these products said nothing…..of course, Mariah Carey USES THESE PRODUCTS….well, we all know…shes a wacko that is not in touch with reality, and is probably making money representing the brand.
People get free products if they write a positive review….we’re you aware of this??? I truly was hoping for a real review….but this is as bogus as the actual product.
