Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment, also known as NG Kombuchka™, is a natural grade fermentation of sweet black tea by the symbiosis of two microorganisms: Saccharomyces (a type of yeast) and xylinum (a type of bacteria). This ingredient is said to enhance skin smoothness, radiance, and color due to its antiglycation activity.

Glycation occurs when sugars enter the circulation and attach themselves to the amino groups of tissue proteins, such as collagen, rearranging their structure into something called advanced glycation end products (AGEs). As a result, AGEs cause once healthy collagen and elastin fibers to lose their elasticity, thereby becoming rigid, more brittle, and prone to breakage. Since Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment protects against glycation, it can help to preserve collagen and elastin fibers. Ultimately, this provides anti-aging and skin smoothing benefits.
