YSL is one of the most well known luxury brands in the beauty and fashion industry. but what makes their skincare formulations unique? Looking at the brand’s offerings, there are a handful of products that feature some truly innovative formulas. One of these is the YSL Forever Youth Liberator Serum. This product was designed to help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles while also creating a more youthful appearance overall. But unlike other products on the market, the YSL Forever Youth Liberator Serum utilizes a rather underrated category of ingredients: sugars. The YSL Forever Youth Serum contains three sugar molecules also known as glycens, which work to signal the skin to ‘act’ younger. What this means is the the glycens lock onto the skin cells and signal them to exhibit the behaviors of much younger cells. Additionally, the YSL team has also gone ahead and run clinical trials for this formula. In clinical testing in subjects over the age of 50, all users experienced a significant reduction in their fine lines and wrinkles after applying this product once a day for a month.
