Krave Skincare products
There are a total of four products in the Krave Skincare line, which include Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser, The Beet Shield, Kale-Lalu-YAHA, and Great Barrier Relief.
Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is an antioxidant cleanser that is formulated to lift away impurities from skin while leaving everything the skin needs: healthy pH, hydration, antioxidants, and no irritation.
The Beet Shield is a gentle, antioxidant-rich day fluid that protects your skin from harsh environmental stressors. It should be the last step of your skin care routine, after your moisturizer.
Kale-Lalu-YAHA is a skin resurfacing exfoliator that sloughs away dead skin cells to reveal youthful, healthier skin. It also helps to reduce the appearance of discoloration, sun damage, and fine lines with regular use.
Great Barrier Relief is a skin-soothing serum that is said to restore your damaged skin barrier while evening out your complexion. This nourishing formula offers irritated skin a “reset button” by using ingredients that mimic a healthy barrier to replenish what your skin lacks.
All Krave Skincare products are vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and formulated without fragrance, essential oil, colorant, and potential allergic sensitizers. All products are based on non-irritating, non-sensitizing and fragrance-free formulas blended with “skin Krave-able” antioxidants and nutrients. Below we’ll discuss the formulation details behind each of the key products in the Krave Skincare line.
The Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser contains 40% of matcha, a finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. Matcha contains catechins, a type of polyphenol, making it into a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants limit oxidative damage caused by free radicals, the unstable molecules that contribute to the formation of premature wrinkles and fine lines on the skin.
As the name implies, one of the key ingredients in The Beet Shield is beetroot extract. The beetroot has skin-enhancing properties like preventing signs of aging, reducing pigmentation and blemishes, and moisturization.
Kale-Lalu-YAHA contains 5.25% of glycolic acid, a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), derived from sugarcane. AHAs exfoliate the skin and increase the rate of cell turnover, leading to smoother, brighter skin. Kale-Lalu-YAHA also contains a mix of leafy greens, including kale, spinach, and parsley, which provide antioxidant benefits to the skin.
One of the key ingredients in Great Barrier Relief is 10% Calophyllum Inophyllum (tamanu) seed oil. Tamanu oil contains a unique lipid known as calophyllolide, which is not found in any other oil. Calophyllolide has anti-inflammatory properties to aid in calming and soothing skin conditions such as eczema, acne, and irritation.
