Starting off with their Vita Rich Cream, this moisturizer is made with a base of natural ingredients which include aloe leaf juice, starflower seed oil, grape seed oil, rosehip oil and botanic hyaluronic acid. In the base alone, this product features some of the most well known and well tolerated ingredients in the skincare industry. Additionally, this base includes humectants, emollients and lightweight occlusives, all of which are necessary to maintain happy, hydrated skin. But what do each of these ingredients do? Starting off with aloe vera juice, this ingredient is an excellent alternative to water in the bulk of these formulas. Aloe vera juice is great for calming and soothing the skin, and can also pack quite a hydrating punch without being heavy. In contrast to this light and highly absorbent start, the next three ingredients, starflower, grape seed and rosehip seed oils function as highly moisturizing emollients and lightweight occlusives. Plant oils possess several unique benefits on their own, but when combined with the rest of the formula, these oils help to thoroughly moisturize and nourish the skin. And finally, botanic hyaluronic acid helps to round out this formula, and increase hydration without adding any additional weight or stickiness.
