How long is a make it good for your company’s been closed well over a year people still selling it on eBay

  • Karen Original review: Feb 19, 2018. Reply

I just found out about BeautiControl recently and was reading these reviews. I am 47, have used MK products for years but am not thrilled with the results anymore. I am reaching out to see if there is a representative in the Denver area from whom I could find out more about this line. I have owned and used Tupperware products for years (most inherited) but never heard about their skin care. I have had very oily skin for most of my life but have finally been “drying up” recently (especially hands — I am a papercrafter). Please contact me (text) at 303-940-7095 if you sell in this area.

Your review is old, but I felt the need to reply. The Consultant should have refunded your money, as BeautiControl does 100% guarantee their products. They would have sent her new product to have in inventory to sell.

That seems wrong. Beauticontrol has a great return policy. (Or used to…?)
    You need a new consultant.

My experience with Beauticontrol (BC) is always a Positive experience. My introduction to BC was through a good friend.
Her friend’s position is a highly ranked position within BC and is very successful…like earning a Mercedes Benz (not a pink car) and
earns a 6-figure income. Like so many people, they have never heard of BC. (I am unclear why the company neglects to advertise in magazines or commercials….?)
I slowly began by trying the different products and liked the results and became a long time customer. Later, I decided to become a
part-time consultant and received the product training and enjoyed my 40% discount for my personal use of products I was already purchasing, but at a much deeper discount. Also, my daughter began using BC and that saved me lots of $$$.
I did not have any pressure to sell a certain amount of products, etc. But, through complements on my skin and how much younger I looked (I had been using regular bar soap on my skin until my early thirties)…I began sharing my story of which products worked for
me and received orders and repeat customers. I shared BC with my Best Friend who was a customer of a “well-known” competitor.
By letting her try BC products appropriate for her skin and age, and compared to what she was already using with the “other” brand.
Her results were so much better than what she had previously experienced and she looked so much more youthful than she had
before. She was receiving complements from her co-workers as to what has she been doing with her skin…She also told me BC was
less costly than the “other” brand. (Many years before, I had previously tried the “well-known” brand and my results were not good…
and I continued to use my bar soap.) Because I took the time to find out her needs for her skin and her preferences, she has a great result and was a loyal repeat customer to me for years. I was later offering the ladies their opportunity to save $$$ on the products
they were purchasing and that is how I began a team. Everyone saw the benefit of saving $$$ on the products they purchased and
also gave them an opportunity to earn a some extra income on the side. Win, Win!!! Again, I did not pressure anyone to sell “X” amount of products to give me a paycheck. I reaped the benefits of earning many exceptional prizes along the way and having
associates that were happy to share the experience with others and give them the benefits of BC.
The Guarantee BC has in place is Wonderful. Any products from BC is 100% Money Back Guarantee for any reason.
If the customer is unsatisfied after using the product for a month or a product was damaged in the mail, etc… the product was sent
back and promptly replaced with no hassle or paperwork. Consultants are required to adhere to this Guarantee.
If they are NOT offering the BC Guarantee, they should be reported to BC Headquarters and the person will be dealt with very
promptly. Find out who the Manager is for the consultant not upholding the Guarantee and I am confident your business will be appreciated and rewarded with “extras” or “freebies” by their Manager. Customer Service is very good with BC.
Some reviews mentioned the pricing…since very little product needs to be used, the products do last longer than most other “cheaper” brands. “You get what you pay for” as the saying goes.
In the end, there are many brands and/or competitors in the cosmetic market, but each has the plus or minus for any individual. A person just needs to find what works for them and their pocketbook. There is no need to “bad-mouth” a brand because of a bad representative.
Every brand offers something similar to the other. Why some brands can charge more $$$ is due to where their emphasis has more impact in their minds. Advertising on television is Very Expensive, as everyone knows and those costs are passed on to the consumer.
PREFERENCE is the choice the person makes to use which products.
CUSTOMER SERVICE is how the person is taken care of in every transaction with a brand.
The CHOICES are up to You!!!!

Whether or not I like the actual product, I was so displeased with the online service that I will never order again and I will tell others what I went through so they never have to experience what I went through. I guess I should read the fine print a little more thoroughly. It was a $98.00 mistake I will never make again.

I use to Love BeautiControl products. They have changed a lot of their products. I started this line back in 2006 and I still have some of the old stuff still in good condition and still use it. Im waiting for it to all run out so that I can switch to another line. I’m very unhappy with what BeautiControl has today. 5-Star Rating to the old products, 2-stars for the New revamped products! 🙁

Extremely disappointed with this company. I ordered 3 products for 80$ (two of which arrived broken and unusable) AND they didn’t arrive in the mail for over 3 months!! I’ve contacted my consultant (with no reply) and the company directly (also no reply). Don’t waste your time or money because their customers(especially first time buyers) are clearly not a priority. GARBAGE!

I’m awful sorry to hear that your consultant was not helpful . Beauticontrol offers a 100% money back guarantee. And what your consultant may also not have told you is that it’s common and quite normal to have some itching or irritation from certain products when they are first used. (and yes this is completely true even for all natural like BeautiControl.(it is gluten free, Paraben free, sulfate free and botanical based ). )

for example if you are beginning an exfoliation routine with things like Microderm, fruit acids or retinal, you will almost always have some irritation and itching and that is totally normal for the first few weeks.
In general a clinical and cosmeceutical’s strength line like BeautiControl will have quite strong ingredients and a lot of the antiaging products so if your skin is not accustomed to that, I often recommend that people ease into them gradually. If you still have the products, feel fee to message me and I will give you detailed directions . 🙂

    Hello there,

I am a cosmetologist and skin care specialist and I also use and carry the BeautiControl line. If your skin was good and you enjoyed the results for the past six months, then something and your environment or your body has simply changed in the last two weeks . I would cut down the Microderm abrasion to just once a week as not to produce more oil and Try using the nutri rich oil as your moisturizer. (adding oil to oily skin does not produce more oil. It actually will keep your skin from overproducing more oil and therefore making enlarges pores)

Also, keep in mind the line has a minimum of 100 products in just the skin care alone so there’s always a perfect regimen for everyone. Sometimes we have to make slight adjustments due to weather or our bodies changing or other such things. 🙂

“I called the consultant and they said ‘NO RETURN, NO CREDIT, NO EXCHANGE’!!! ”
This is false. BeautiControl has a 100% satisfaction policy (I am a consultant). For whatever reason, your consultant chose to not honor the corporate policy. If you want to try other products, I would find a new consultant. The Sensitive line worked very well for me. I’m sorry to hear that the products did not work for you.

I recently attended a beauticontrol spa party, I was not very pleased, I felt overwhelmed with so many products in a short period of time, I did not like to feel pressured to buy products that I could not see a list of ingredients, it was just to much to absorb in 2 hours, then I felt pressured to have a party which I signed up for just because to help out my friend but I think I will cancel, I couldn’t wait to rush home as nd wash the products off I have never felt so greasy and disgusting , my face an eyes were burning and red and my feet were so greasy I couldn’t stand it when I did get home to shower I thought I might slip in the shower , I did buy 3 things which was some body spray a leg cream and hand cream for my daughter, because she is in the medical field and washes her hands a lot, I was not happy with the whole experience and not to mention the products and extremely pricey and I am not sure I know anyone that would want to spend that kind of money . PS the reps wash clothes also smelled sour.

    Hi Cindy,

I would highly recommend Arbonne products for you, their products are formulated in Switzerland and follow strict European Union Standards. They’re free of toxic chemicals like parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, formaldehyde, etc., they’re vegan-certified, gluten-free, etc. You can checkout the ingredient policy on my website, they’re pure, safe and have a 45-day guarantee policy. I’ve been with Arbonne for 4 years and its changed my life so much. If you’re open to chatting more, send me an email xoxo

    Catherine,
I’m a rep for both and although I love ItWorks! for the weightloss, thermogenic, and wrap/slimming products, I do not think their face line is comparable to that of BeautiControl. The quality with BeautiControl, in my opinion, by far exceeds that of ItWorks.

While I have been using beauticontrol for about six months now, I am sad to say that I am not 100% impressed anymore with the product. Up until two weeks ago, I would say that I was okay with the product. I saw pretty decent results, but now, for whatever reason, my skin is oilier than it ever has been. I use the cleanser, the scrub, and the aha toner. One to two times a week I do the microderm abrasion. I’ve never had an issue with my pores being enlarged, but now the over all tone and texture of my face is disappointing. I’m almost thirty. I take very good care of my face. I generally have little to no acne issues and very few fine lines. I will be trying something else very soon.

I tried two products and they don’t work to my face. They make my skin itchy. I called the consultant and they said ‘NO RETURN, NO CREDIT, NO EXCHANGE’!!! I’m very disappointed because the products are a little expensive and they don’t work! I prefer buy in Nordstrom or Macy’s because if the products don’t work on your face they have a full return policy.

A bit confused as to what happened to your brush?? I have been using the OLDER version — which is NOT guaranteed to be used in the shower/get wet BUT I have been using it in my shower for over a YEAR with NO problems whatsoever. You should contact the person who sold it to you and have them report this to BC. They WILL take care of the problem. This applies to almost ALL companies like BC.

I am a consultant with BeautiControl and have been for 7 years. I love our products and would love to share with you their benefits. I’m 68 years old and have been told I look like I’m in my early 50s. January 1-31, 2015, you can join BeautiControl for $50 for a Spa on the Spot Case. For $99 you can choose the skin care case or our be cool or be warm color case.

I really think that those who say beauticontrol didn’t do anything for them really didn’t get the right product. Sometimes one needs to try things and find what works. Don’t just give up so easily. Your consultant is supposed to help you with that. You have a 30 day money back guarantee.

I am sorry to hear that your recruits did all YOUR work! As a team we ALL had to make a certain individual amount along with a TEAM amount.to make numbers. I wouldn’t expect any of my recruits to last under me if all i did was sit back and make them do all the work for my paycheck! That is NOT how i was trained through Beauticontrol!!

I am so appalled by the review from the girl staying you find 2-3 good networked people and let them do all of the work.

I am SO thankful to be with the skincare company I am with (not beauticontrol, it works, MK or any of that) because in order for me to succeed, earn huge paychecks or one of the other 13 ways we get paid, I have to help my team. I do NOT sit back and collect checks. It’s unfortunate that this person at beauticontrol portrays relationship marketing this way. THAT is the pyramid scheme everyone is worried about.

I recently rejoined BeautiControl. I was a consultant for about 4 yrs (only to purchase my skin care at a reduced price) I was swayed away by a good friend that owned a spa in town to use Obagi. Well, I realized after about a year and a half that its the same, other than it costed about 3 times a much. So, I’m back and very happy to be. My skin feels and looks better at the the age of 42, and I am now going to start doing spa parties. I really like and trust this product!

I have tried Beauty Control and loved it. I ordered the facial set and have sensitive skin that breaks out in hives with ANY product, including Mary Kay & Avon. I can’t even used department store brands or even stuff from the natural foods stores. I do worry about the ingredients in Beauty Control & all other skin care products being a chemical God didn’t mean for you to absorb.
I can use the facial cleansing lotion & toner, but not the scrub or moisturizer. Love the detox bath. With just the cleansing lotion and toner my acne cleared up and my face was moisturized and less wrinkly looking. Aplause!
Their foot stuff is o.k. their eye shadow is great but they come in 3 color sets and not a big fan of the chosen combinations. The men’s after shave cream is good & soothing for the men in my family.
Over all I would say it is a good product!!!

I used BeautiControl for about 6 years. I always liked it but never found it did anything new for my skin in comparison to anything else I tried. Still had dry patches, oily areas and reoccurring breakouts with my cycle (yes, I know this is normal :)). I joined It Works! Global because of some health issues with out any knowledge they had skin care. They DO! And it’s Amazing!!! I have no breakouts, even skin tone and fading sunspots. I’ll never go back! If you just can’t find the right combination for you it’d be worth a try. You can contact me through my website.

I’ve just started to use Beauticontrol products after my daughters best through through a spa party. I always feel pressure at these types of events but thought she is going through college and could do with whatever commission she earns as her family has not been fortunate financially. Beauticontrol products are average, I have not seen any major improvements in my skin.

  • Kim Original review: Nov 09, 2013. Reply

BeautiControl is great for cleansing and moisturizing but I do not see any changes in the signs of aging. I am using the Beauticontrol BC Spa Solutions as this is the power range in their product range.

I disagree that BeautiControl products aren’t innovative. The new MicrodermApeel for Face is an awesome product that combines the effects of a chemical peel with microdermabrasion. But your face isn’t raw afterwards. It’s smooth and soft. This combination is also less expensive than chemical peel and microdermabrasion alone.

If you broke out after using BeautiControl products, that means it is working. The products are cleaning all the bad stuff out of your skin. ( non technical terms ) You should give it three weeks. Also my next question would be if they did a skin sensor on you to determine exactly what products worked best for your skin type? I hope you would give BeautiControl another try.

Contact me if you have any questions so I may answer them for you.
    Thank you
    Rita

I’m a licensed esthetician, if you broke out in pimples after using the products. There’s a fe w reasons why that happened. You apparently had congestion under your skin which we all do. I tell my clients after every facial I give at my spa, the facial or products is working when you breakout after a treatment. Your skin is breathing and pushing the gunk out of your pores. It’s very, natural for you to break out.. Don’t freak out.

Not sure why someone would recommend Estee Lauder. Especially since the girl at the counter doesn’t receive training on the products or may not even know that Estee Lauder is NOT cruelty free. Also, not sure where the research came from. I am a BeautiControl consultant and receive 50%-70% commission. BeautiControl has won numerous awards and is the exclusive color line used at Fashion Week Style 360 in NYC. I am 37 years old and my skin hasn’t looked like this since I was in my 20’s! I love it! And the clinical strength, pharmaceutical grade skin care is the only thing that helps with my daughter’s psoriasis.

I have been a Avon consultant since I was a teenager and switched to Beauticontrol because the incentive was better. This is a true MLM program that can change your life, all you need to do is fine 2 or 3 people you know that are well networked and know how to sell and let them do all the work. You earn commission on their sales and any representatives they refer. Avon does not offer such incentives and they have much smaller commission levels. If you need to order BeautiControl or are interest in distributing their products please contact me and I will do you a special deal.
